  1. imo, but that mary su moment of the second portion of the gang arriving and NY also arriving to save the day kind of dilluded the good dark drama.

  2. Uhm… Nie Yuantong???? I don’t think pizza and pasta is the same thing… “Let’s eat pizza, okay? I suddenly really want to eat pasta.” Nie Yuantong answered.😅😅😅

Thank God for Weng Cheng! I really hope she gets a happy ever after or at least Zhou Xu helps her and yay Ke Tur gets some form of happiness at least~ I want Xhou Xueli and Wen Chan more ruined than this, hopefully they brains get fixed or something 🤷🏻‍♀️

    THANKS FOR THE CHAPTER!!!!

  3. Weng Cheng is so amazing! Really like good female characters in BL novels. Hope she will find someone who will love and fancy her😊

    Thanks for the chapter🖤

  4. Go stepmother! I feel so good knowing that the protagonist have his legs broken! Poor beauty! Almost met a horrendous destiny!

    Thank you for the chapter!

  5. Zhou Xueli was at least more exposed to society and should know what’s right or wrong. He just didn’t care. Wen Chan though… Wen Chan is an interesting case. I believe that she genuinely has no idea; she’s a blank, amoral slate. She’s so tightly controlled by her father that the philosophy of good and evil is literally not part of her curriculum, and she’s also so tightly protected that she’s never had to think critically or about the world outside of herself. And really, how could she dare to think for herself? Her father is terrifying; he sniffed out that something was up just by her saying one sentence at lunch. This whole thing with Xueli and setting up ZX probably used up her whole lifetime’s worth of courage. Parents can literally ruin their children, even well-meaning ones. Father Wen could have never raised an outstanding and savvy child with his parenting methods–the child would either turn out like WC, or they would rebel violently. I would really be interested to see if WC comes to back to bite Father Wen eventually.
  6. I really hate that in this type of novel the punishment for rape or attempt of rape is always very low if any, they should have been sent to jail. Really they always treat it like almost nothing when it’s the scariest torture that exist, everyday in my Facebook appears news of girls (of any age) been raped and killed, even impaled, in this years. I think the most horrible death of the protagonist (that he mentioned) was gang raped (and ate alive) really it gaves me goosebumps.

Leaving that aside, thanks for the chapt!!

  7. At least she escaped her father’s clutches… The housekeeper will keep watch of her but it is better than nothing.

Or did the dad go overseas too since he’s retired?

If ZX told the reborn man he transmigrated, I wonder how reborn guy would act. If he lets go of his anger, he’s still manageable, if he wants revenge nonetheless, he’s worthless and trash.
