    I wonder if that stupidly strict father who raised his daughter into a psychopath called in Xueli’s original second lifetime? I doubt that Wen Chan had to help Xueli then because Xueli had foreknowledge to work against the OG Zhou Xu, so maybe her going to stir up trouble called her father’s attention to this situation? I almost want to say she and Xueli deserve each other, but after seeing some of her POV, I don’t think Xueli would last long in her hands… she’ll get impatient with him, I think, since he seems useless outside of what his foreknowledge helped him with.

    I’m thinking that even if they attempt to make the rape charge go through, depending on their methods, they’ll shoot themselves in the foot since Zhou Xu will unexpectedly have the current principal’s alibi, or if they think that Zhou Xu will do it himself, that will REALLY backfire, especially since her father is a financial bigshot and if Zhou Xu ‘saves’ her from whatever situation instead of taking advantage, Zhou Xu will just gain more connections/backings.

    I can’t really see either Xueli or Wen Chan managing to make an airtight scheme tbh. Xueli still doesn’t know how to be careful and when would Chan have had the time to learn such things??? With five hours of extra curriculars every day??
