  25. Honestly, with each new arc I’m more and more convinced that the stories he transmigrates into are complete bullshit. What villain? At most I would call his role a cannon-fodder. He does very little to the protagonist then gets an end that definitely doesn’t suit his crime. If the original stories were told from the protagonist’s POV, there would be no suspence, no real hardship shaping and showing the protagonist’s inner qualities, just almost effortless climbing from the bottom to the top by crashing everyone around. Definitely wouldn’t be interesting.

    On the other hand, the new version isn’t all that better… It’s just that the villains and cannon fodder are portrayed as more vile and more ‘deserving’ of their end, but there is not really any suspence or main character growth either. Perhaps the MC is a bit too OP, I would rather he was struggling a bit more to achieve his goals. Ah, well, who am I kidding? I totally read it for the interactions with the ML.

    Anyway, I can endure all the stealing to save people, even though I’m angry that he never tried to compensate and undo his wrongs, but seriously, he stole a super important pill, from somebody he already stole a super important pill from without any compensation to save one human, but this time it’s for celebration??

    You could give him anything as a gift, something self-made would be so cute, yet you stole something? The heck? And when that person punishes you, you play victim, get an assassin to kill the person THEN EAT HIS FLESH??????

    If the previous stealings showed a lack of conscience and a criminally carefree attitude, the next step is just psycho!!
