    not 100% sure of its accuracy since my Chinese is pretty bad & I didn’t read the raws but… from what I read, imo I think you can take the 不 感冒 in here to mean like ‘no sense of danger’ 冒（险） rather than what it literally means – not catching a cold/flu… (不感冒）

    Regardless, thankyou for this chapter!!! Albeit really belated since it came out months ago…

  9. To be completely fair, that couple wasn’t so bad in the beginning. Zhou Xu’s suspicions about his father getting bitten are just speculation. The couple retaliating against Wang Ying, who locked the FL in the house to starve, and Zhou Xu who helped her cause trouble, is somewhat justified. Them not wanting Zhou Xu back in the group is natural. The only despicable thing they did was refuse to rescue a 7 year old kid but…… Fine, it’s the apocalypse, maybe they can’t ensure their own safety and can’t afford to protect her. They don’t have to be virgin Mary’s.

    But not letting the base know a surefire way to get stronger is just plain selfish. It also sounds like ML is doing the same though.

    • I don’t see any part where the original host harmed her tho, mostly only directed hateful gaze bcs of that bitch brainwashing so i don’t think he deserves to get killed, mc already explained that wang bitch betrayed him and they should know that he’s only being used but they still refused to give him his share of food, and probably still malicious toward him, AND if MC said there’s something sus about that male protag and his father then there’s probably something fishy going on duh
