I dont remember which chapter but i do remember i saw her say this when i was rereading Transmigrating into a Mob Character vol 2 by Helli Translation. hope it helps！

Why did he have to save Wang Ying, though? It’s not like being OOC will get him thrown out of the world. Plus, since he knows the girl didn’t hesitate to try and kill her own cousin when her own life wasn’t in danger, what made MC think she won’t try and sacrifice him now that she actually faces the risk of dying? Even if the original host’s character was infatuated and gentle, the only person there to see his change was that girl, and her opinion isn’t really important since she’ll most likely die without his help and even if she survives, she’ll try to take revenge no matter what his personality when they were in the warehouse was. It’s not like she can convince other people to kill him because he was ‘possessed’ if ever they got out and he treated Wang Ying cruelly in the warehouse. But, I guess the plot HAS to move one way or another 🤷♀️
