I think the first half of the story in this chapter is about Cecil’s past life. I think like this because both the person at the beginning of the story in this chapter and Cecil use the same pronunciation. Remember the Church people really don’t like vampires and such? Because of this, I bet they send someone to eliminate Cecil’s family. And maybe because of this, because he had lost everything a long time ago, Cecil became materialistic and tried to seduce Yuria 👀👌
