  5. Haha! This chapter is so funny! The 4th prince wanted to make great achievements, but he has to run away from the battle “with his tail between his legs” and leave the place to the brother he hates. Jing Shao brings a “fierce” tiger to fight the Huainan King’s lion (what a comedy!). He then “discovers” his foot fetishism (even though anything coming from his wangfei can turn him on ^^). He plans to escort his consort while pretending to be a young servant (will the wangfei make good use of this golden opportunity to tease his husband? I hope so). And Qin Zhaoran reappears, being bitter when he sees Jun Qing. Is he bitter because he sees how beautiful and wonderful he is and regrets not being able to be his husband since Jun Qing seems to like a lot his prince? Or is it for another reason? Let’s see in the nexts chapters…

    PS: I laughed so much at the “It’s getting late. The Huainan army went back for dinner”! I mean, you always imagine the battles to be epic, but you never think that, at the end of the day, the soldiers are just like “It’s already dinnertime, let’s just call this a day. We will come back later to look for the wounded and the corpses. Maybe. Tomorrow is another day” as if it was a normal day at work! XD

    • I know right? I mean it’s my first time learning they are pausing the battle for the dinner. I mean will they have a lunch brake too? They might start the battle after their breakfast right? So what about the tea time? This is so funny 😂. You have to eat we’ll before fitting 😅 . But man I’m totally up for such kind of battle a battle….. it’s too much my style. I mean food and sleep is very important 😁 wars can wait I have to fill my stomach first 😂

  16. I thought it is already well known that Jing Shao had foot fetish (or at least for Jun Qing’s feet) lol. He always went into “the mode” whenever he saw JQ’s feet.

    I can’t with them bringing their Xiao Huang to vacation, ehem battlefield. These little family really, sigh. Poor General Lu, really scared to death that Huainan King will get his head 😂.

    this actually reminds me of this one time me andy friends were watching the life of pi, and there was this one part where the tiger was on the boat with pi and acted cute, and we instantly went “AWWW” while knowing it’s trying to eat a human SO YEAH IT’S TOTALLY POSSIBLE 😂

  22. I just thought about this now, if Jiangnan was that important in terms of security, then why in heaven’s name did these officials (and the 4th prince) thought it was ok to serve as training ground? 😅 They only remembered when the 4th prince lost 2 cities, like wut.
