14. I’ve read the raws and although my Chinese isn’t great, I don’t think he said “withering away” in the last sentence.

    • This is the last sentence in the raws: “难道自己就要在王府中枯等他三五年吗？”

      枯 means to dry up/wither. The ” 三五年” or “several years” to “meantime” was an edit my editors suggested which in retrospect I will add back in. Thus I have it translated to: ” Did that mean he would have to wait several years for Jing Shao in the prince’s residence, withering away in the meantime?” I don’t translate with the most literal accuracy and do try to find a middle ground between accuracy and flow/English localization.
