   • Re: the wait for the next chapter…I know, I’m sorry. But Chansie and I work on other projects too…So, in order to keep our sanity and irl lives running smoothly, we’re focussed on a regular, weekly release for both novels and stockpiling where we can so in case something happens, we can still release a chapter. We know and sympathise with the wait and will try not to leave you guys at the super bad cliffhangers, so double releases will sometimes occur.* Looks mysterious and runs away. * 😏😁

   • They are exploring a thread of consciousness (I’m not sure if it’s the evil bro’s or Lotus Immortal) via the soldier silk and going in to the ‘past’ (?) to find out how/when/where/why Lotus Immortal had soldier silk inserted, why Changsung Chengfeng’s bro wanted GW’s right eye etc. Instead, what they got was the crazy scene in this chapter with a hint that GW might have been there. There have been hints the mirror realm and illusions have a lot to do with all this – are what they’re seeing illusions / reality / alternate universe? Even though I’m the editor, I don’t read ahead so Idk what’s going to happen either.Takeaways so far:-It appears Xu Shuangtze was totally in love with GW, to the point he wouldn’t even give his corpse up. (The scratch marks are where they literally wrenched GW’s corpse from him). But, because XSZ cultivates a path that doesn’t allow feelings, he’s in a bit of a pickle. So he built a big-ass house to ‘hide’ his obsession. (That secret mansion place). I personally thinks he keeps the peach trees blooming ’cause he misses GW and is hoping he’ll ‘return’ (via some method). Totally a mix of Luo Binghe’s Shizun corpse obsession and Lan Zhan playing enquiry for 13 years vibes…Gong Wei (as he is now) doesn’t know, and perhaps never knew why he ‘needed’ to kill XSZ. He’s absolutely clueless about XSZ’s feelings for him, despite teasing the poor man with ‘kisses’.Artefact Sect Master’s bro is a psychopath and def. needs to be taken out (if he is really still alive).Mirrors/illusion play a huge part, which hopefully will be revealed bit by bit.I hope this helped (a bit)!
