  1. Aw now I don’t know what to feel… What was xu bai trying to accomplish there by hurting gong wei so much?? Poor gong wei… Still I won’t judge too much since I still don’t know the full story, xu bai plsss hahaa although i know this is HE 😭😭

  2. I was just thinking.. Since GW seems to absorb emotions from those around him. What if the voice that’s telling him to kill XST was actually incited by someone close to him. And I can’t bring myself to trust YK. Sus.

  3. And I feel like XST means well, like maybe (just maybe) he wants to hide GW because he knows that GW can absorb emotions (I can’t find a better term or I can’t explain it clearly huhu) and he wants to protect him, so that GW won’t be influenced by wicked thoughts or emotions by those around him.

  4. I already thought GW could be a manifestation of the Dao… Dao condensed into a human form or something. But a heresy of it? If that’s really true, that’d be too harsh…

  5. “three souls and seven souls”

Was it meant to say soul or spirit? I know some books say something about spirits and souls so I wanted to make sure.

Also so that’s why he grew that way…. I wanna cut Xu Bai’s tongue and shove it down his own throat! He’s mad he caught feelings first that’s all!!

  6. Why is everyone like “pOor GoNG wEi” when Xu Shuangtze us the one who is being told he must die and being attempted to kill. Is there something wrong with me, I don’t understand this logic

  7. i think in his own way, xu shuangtze was trying to protect gong wei. but ahh, this chapter broke my heart. poor gong wei 🙁

  8. While what he said was hurtful, it seems like GW was brought into existence to kill XSZ. It was hinted at many chapters ago that he had one purpose, he repeatedly says he has to die first, and even here he has the impulse to kill him. The ML seems cruel, but he is the highest ranked cultivator in the world and senses something is wrong with GW. It also seems like he’s trying to protect him in his own way, because if he sees these peculiarities then surely others do too.
