  1. Gong Wei is really trying, okay!!! Why is everyone so mean to him : (

Xu Bai isn’t so bad, he’s the only one who at least somewhat apologized but still, scaring Gong Wei not allowed!

  2. Ohh Gong Wei, you’re either neurally divergent or some kind of nature sprite. Either way you can’t help appearing like creepy weirdo to so-called normies. I get you. Everything you said makes total sense. They’re the weird ones.

  3. Omg this has been a rollercoaster im now understanding xu bai and gong weis relationship, gong wei doesn’t understand… ahh I’m excited for more ty for the chapter

  4. I’m honestly wondering if Gong Wei is the Ghost Princess’s child with how integral to the story that lore is. He’s also definitely not wrong about death. It’s very sweet of him to say that to Xu Shuangtze.

  5. Well, I see nothing wrong in what GW said lol It’s just a neutral look on it without emotions involved. But isn’t that what most people think? No or less emotions = not human? Stupid thought :’D

    Thx for the ch (ㅅ˘ㅂ˘)

  6. Gong Wei was adorable and absolutely correct. his mistake was playing chess with the dead guy.

but how horrible he was treated. they said he was like a child and still asking him “what are you?” and then promising him not to use it again but Gong Wei grew used to hearing it QAQ

    thanks for the chapter <3

  7. First of all my guess is MC is some kind of spirit/god/heavenly conscious. Second of all I think that his thoughts were right from his point of view and others did not have a right to say smth just because he did not conform to their standards. Also his last words were a little bit creepy, he tried to be sweet in his way ok !

  8. Huh. That line sounds like he is cursing him lmao. GONG WEI, YOU DIED FIRST 😭 YOU’RE THE ONE WHO WOULD MOST LIKELY MAKE XU BAI CRY.

I don’t think there’s something wrong with Gong Wei? He seemed human enough, or just a babe without any guidance before he met them.

  9. It must feel like Gong Wei is cursing him out. (Since the purpose of their cultivation is to ascend and avoid death) But Gong Wei saying this after it was made clear that he doesn’t understand the grieving of death makes it clear how much he cherished Xu Bai.
