I’d just decided to drop this after ch 19 and was looking at the comments in the other few translated chapters to see if anything redeeming happened with Lord Xu to make me want to continue (it seems not, lol), but I have to agree, if Yuchi Xiao is the actual ML, I’d prob continue, heh. If it turns out that’s the case, someone tell me. 😉
I know you might have already decided if you’re going to drop it or not, but I’m just gonna let this comment here in case anyone else is feeling the same… I finished reading this novel in MTL because I was too curious (but I reread every chapter here, HTL is way better!), and I’d like to say that everything about this plot is way bigger than it seems… even Lord Xu’s behavior. Don’t take everything you read as the absolute truth. So, if you’re in doubt, I’d say to be patient… everything will eventually become clearer 😅…
