I think, if they evolved their pet into T-Rex, the T-Rex will be domesticated. Since it means it evolved through some sort of genetic manipulation by the sponsor. The other species is counted as competitors in survival, but the pets is included in the team now by the new function. So, with enough evolution point, they can evolve this teammate. The evolved one will be as docile as this current one. From one I understand.
