Just when everyone thought the matter was about to be resolved, the reporter from New Entertainment Weekly attacked once again.

“The fact that our country has not yet recognized the legal status of homosexuality is not to say that I or my newspaper discriminate against homosexuality. For Yatong to feel so strongly about this topic, could it be that you are one of them?” YhBa71

Shan Yatong smiled lightly. “Should I say that this reporter friend has strong legal and reaction skills?” He adjusted the height of the microphone. “What I mean is there is nothing wrong with love. Even though same-sex relationships don’t have legal status right now, have those relationships done any harm?”

“So are you still implying that you’re gay?” The reporter wouldn’t back down.

“Just because I understand homosexuality, it means I’m a homosexual?” Shan Yatong rebutted, “So, if you understand your girlfriend or your wife, are you a woman?”

The whole audience roared with laughter, and the serious atmosphere immediately lightened up. The reporter who asked the question choked, and could not find a rebuttal to Shan Yatong’s words. lmSOLg

Shan Yatong spoke in a relaxed tone. “I know that our reporter friends are also concerned about us artists. Therefore, I am very thankful to you all, but you should not do unintentional harm even if you have good intentions. If I were to fall in love with a beautiful woman in the future, they may reject my pursuit because of these rumors, then I would really be miserable.” Shan Yatong spread his hands with a look of chagrin.

The reporters were again led to another topic by Shan Yatong. As for that previous reporter, he was blocked by several reporters who suddenly appeared. Even if he tried to ask another question again, he wouldn’t have a chance. As soon as he was about to shout, he was hit in the stomach by something. Looking up, it was the equipment from the hands of a photographer from another company.

“What are you looking at? Get out of the way. In this circle, you need to get better eyes.” The male reporter next to the photographer gave him a cold look and squeezed in front of him.

Shan Yatong, who was sitting higher than the reporters, naturally saw the scene unfold. He smiled, and looked to the other side. “Do you have any other questions you’d like to ask?”

The reporters’ attitudes were obviously much better than before, and the questions they began to ask were much more relaxed than before.

“Yatong, with your film collaboration with Emperor Xiao, how did the chemistry feel for the first time?”

Shan Yatong thought about it. “If I were to use two words to describe it, it would be joy and novelty. The joy is because I had an opportunity that many newcomers wouldn’t receive. I am extremely lucky to be able to cooperate with international directors and act with Xiao-ge.” Novelty is because as a newcomer, I have never had such an experience. Although filming is harder than expected, it gives the impression that everything is wonderful, which is completely different from the usual feeling of shooting MV. I believe that this film will not let you down, or may even give you endless surprises.

Shan Yatong’s words were clear and logical. This did not seem like a newcomer who had just entered the industry at all, but rather sounded like a big shot who had been traversing the entertainment industry for many years. Because of this, the reporters found his behaviour believable. aU4gYT

Lu Fan had been quietly watching the young man face the reporters’ questions with ease. The more he answered, the more he felt that this young man was sent down by heaven to compensate for his fate. He will once again hold up the brightest star.

The reporters looked at each other. Originally, they had thought they would see a war of words between the two sides, but they didn’t expect that the large strike from Yuan Wen would only land on a soft and fluffy cotton?

With no verbal war, every reporter was disappointed. Only when a quarrel occurred would there be something interesting. Only when there were such interesting situations could they write a manuscript, and only when there was a manuscript could they make money. They could practically see their money flying away.

Yang Jun, who was standing on one side, rolled his eyes in a corner where no one would notice. That guy was being so kind. He wondered how meaningful his words were. These reporters now had nothing to reveal. They could only look for a “deeper” meaning in Shan Yatong’s words so that they can report back to their newspapers. If it continued like this, he didn’t know how the reporters would portray Yuan Wen. He hoped Yuan Wen had a good reputation with the media.

The reporters continued to ask some questions. They were all deflected by Shan Yatong’s invisible Tai Chi punches. Finally the press conference ended. er2Cuy

Shan Yatong retreated backstage, and sat down wearily on the sofa, rubbing his forehead. He closed his eyes. “Yang Jun, give me a cup of black tea.”

A warm cup of tea was put in his hand. He could feel the temperature of the tea. He smiled reluctantly. “Thank you.” When he opened his eyes, he saw that it was an extremely handsome man. The man was smiling at him, as if he was the one who had just been handed the tea.

Holding the tea in his hand, Shan Yatong smiled lightly. “Hello. Thank you.”

“Your performance was pretty good.” The man said, his arms crossed across his chest. He leaned against the wall, smiling at Shan Yatong with hidden meaning. 2dx5Ud

Shan Yatong lowered his gaze, then raised his head and looked at the man blankly. “Performance?”

“Heh.” He didn’t seem to believe his act of naiveness. The man rubbed his smooth chin. “You don’t understand what I mean?”

Shan Yatong fiddled with the cup clasped in his hands. He looked at the auspicious cloud pattern in the mirror. “What do you want me to understand, sir?”

Lu Fan was about to push open the backstage lounge door, but the door was slightly open. He could hear the voices of a conversation clearly. One was Shan Yatong, and the other was his boss, Tang Ruanqing. vUokrm

Yang Jun, who had followed him, saw Lu Fan’s move and wisely came to a halt. He stood quietly behind Lu Fan.

“You are very experienced dealing with reporters.” Tang Ruanqing’s voice came out with a little smile. “It was a pleasant surprise to see that a new artist could do even better than a first-line artist.”

Lu Fan couldn’t help pushing the door open a little more. The situation inside could be seen clearly.

“Was there more surprise, or more joy?” Shan Yatong took a sip of black tea, and then set the cup on the coffee table beside him. He stood up, smiling, and held out his hand. “Nice to meet you, Chairman.” QXarDo

“Likewise.” Tang Ruanqing said, not at all surprised that Shan Yatong had recognized him. He held his hand and suddenly leaned down, whispering in his ear. “I look forward to more of your wonderful performance.”

This was already an ambiguous gesture. In the eyes of the two people behind the door, it looked as if Tang Ruanqing was leaning down and kissing Shan Yatong’s cheek.

“Of course. I won’t let you down.” Shan Yatong said. He didn’t seem to realize how ambiguous the action looked. He simply looked back at Tang Ruanqing, smiling slightly.

They both smiled at each other and then took a step back. 3suNLB

“You really resemble a person.” Tang Ruanqing said suddenly.

“I think I’ve always been a person.” Shan Yatong smiled wryly. “Does Chairman Tang only think I look like a human?”

“Of course you’re a beautiful young man.” Tang Ruanqing continued. “It’s just that you’re more neutral than that man. I really want to know what it would be like if that arrogant man knew a 19-year-old had performed the classics he had created.”

The smile on Shan Yatong’s face vanished. He didn’t think that Tang Ruanqing would come only to reminisce about an old friend with him. If that was the case, then the man in front of him would not be Tang Ruanqing. 1cIBEV

He suddenly glanced to the side at the half-opened door, and just happened to catch Lu Fan’s gaze.

Their eyes met. Then Shan Yatong watched Lu Fan help him close the door.

Lu Fan closed the door, frowning at it. Did Shan Yatong already know that he and Yang Jun were behind it?

“What happened? Were we found out?” Yang Jun asked curiously at the strange look on his face. 2BvN6Y

“It’s not necessarily a good thing for an assistant to know too much.” Lu Fan said, looking at him and then turning away.

Yang Jun was slightly startled. Deep inside he vaguely understood what he saw, but just as if he didn’t see anything, he left to go to another lounge.

Lu Fan was far less calmer than Yang Jun, because only he knew that Tang Ruanqing did not have much contact with his artists at all. But he had taken the initiative to approach Shan Yatong, and contacted him privately too. Additionally, when the bosses of entertainment companies contacted their artists in private, it was usually for…

In previous years, H country had such scandals. In the end, some female stars had even committed suicide. Although these things caused huge scandals, these things were left unresolved in the end. uO32iT

In this circle, it was common for artists to be used by the rich because of unspoken rules, but he did not expect that this time it would be Tang Ruanqing and Shan Yatong.

Seeing the door closed, Shan Yatong merely turned his head to look at Tang Ruanqing. “What does Chairman Tang mean by this?”

Tang Ruanqing sat down in front of Shan Yatong and smiled. “You seem very sensitive. It’s just this, and you asked the eavesdroppers to leave.”

“I think even if I don’t, Chairman Tang will let them go anyway.” Shan Yatong sat down on another armchair. nt3X1W

Tang Ruanqing looked at the young man sitting to his side, with a familiar smile at the corners of his mouth. He looked out the window. At twelve floors up, all he saw were tall buildings, and what was invisible to the human eye — a legendary soul.

“You’re still so good at Tai Chi, Jing Anjue.” He heard himself speak his mind so plainly.

WAIT!!!!! WTF!?!?! JUST FROM SHAN YATONG’S RESPONSE, HE KNEW THAT IT WAS JING ANJUE!?!!!! OMG, I was confused as I want to know who is the most possible one among the three that would end up with Shan Yatong and now Tang Ruanqing is my best bet.

    Thank You for the Chapter~~<3

  3. (°ロ°) !!!!??

Wait does he know SYT is JAJ and has a legendary soul which made him see it…… or have I misunderstood ….argh can’t wait for the next chapter to resolve it

    Thanks for the chapter❤❤

  4. i just want to know how mesmerising jing anjue is during his past life. everyone (and i mean everyone) is literally obsessed w/ him and can’t forget him which i am not really surprised about. jing anjue is that type of person that truly doesn’t care about anyone and seems to not have much interest in life (it’s really hard to spark interest in someone like this but it’s really easy to spark interest in someone that watches him). jing anjue just seems like (from what i at least read) a person that acts like the world is a chess, everyone is the chess piece and he is the mastermind. i know because we are pretty similar yet so different.
  5. OMG WHAT???!!! HE KNOWS!!! AHHHHH IS HE THE ML?! AHHHHHHHHH HOW ABOUT XIAO? LOU? OMG IM TORN BETWEEN THESE THREE AHHHHHH HELPPP

  6. TRQ is definitely more interesting than the current movie emperor (his character seems a little bland) and the idol (he is interesting too but doesn’t give off ML vibes so far)

  7. I knew it 🤭 he gotta know mc clearly. Here is a potential ml.
