Author is right though, the previous two gongs weren’t scummy enough. The cultivation gong was a bit boring to me. Lance wasn’t even scummy enough from the interstellar arc cause he was the og host’s enemy from the start. There was no cheating, backstabbing and such with him. He straight up tortured his enemy, and soon fell in love with him and thats it. Lance also got a sort of happy ending even if the whole empire died, he got his wish at the last moment. So i understand why this gong is so scummy.
