  1. When your calm and collected emperor husband suddenly speaking a bit incoherently… (๑˃ᴗ˂) ﻭ

  2. Confessing, escaping from irate teachers, kissing – it’s so nice that the emperor and the empress got a second chance to be young and careless, to fall in love with each other properly ☺

Thank you very much for the chapter!

  3. Our long awaited confession scene and a flustered emperor! YAY!! 😍😍😍😍

That advertisement got ma laughing tho~ 😂😂😂Thanks for the chapter!!!

  4. I think this just became my favorite chapter too! The confession really warmed my heart 😍Hope you had fun with your friends baobao! I’m thankful for the constant releases but don’t forego your social life to do so! Happy Belated Chinese New Year!

  5. I could be totally wrong about this, but couldn’t “Wang” also refer to an English slang or something deling with the phallus?

  6. Thank you for the chapter!

I personally think that they call her ‘Wang jie’ because of the Dayu Maternity Hospital Ad. I think the surname ‘Wang’ is very common in China, so it would be the equivalent to the American ‘Smith,’ etc. So, I think the meaning is equivalent to how people in America refer to a person that you don’t know but can be found anywhere, an “average Joe.” The Hospital was trying to claim that anyone could come to their hospital, not a specific person. However, netizens used that surname and phrasing to refer to Zhou Jingjing to specifically make a point because she went there habitually and to make possibly make the ad pointed towards her.

Sorry for long explanation. This is what I think the author meant, but I am not 100% sure. 🙂

  7. Maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but, for the flawled mess of a human being that SZC is, he really seems to be trying and like he always wanted a relationship with his son but just never knew what to do and gave up. Maybe something later will prove me wrong, or maybe I missed something, but I don’t HATE SZC… I AM very disappointed in his (love) life choices though
