Wow this was my first novel on CG (saw the real link at an aggregator site and did the responsible thing and came right over) so it did open my eyes to the Xanxia BL world and I’ve never looked back.

Try “Legendary Master’s Wife”. That is my first Xianxia so I might be biased, but I loved that one too much. The contracted beasts had their own individualistic characters, that spiced the novel nicely; while the gong loved to tease the shou, but will be putty with the shou’s tears 😆🤣.

The end is too rushed in my opinion. I meant the part where our protagonists collided with the real big villain. For a fight that is drawn for ten thousands years, it ended too meh 😅. Glad that Jianmu had grown though. Now everyone that should ascend can finally ascend without helplessly exploding. I already forgot of the other big villain from Yan family’s name, the one that caused Twin Moon City demise, what happened to him? He was said to still be alive, and Yin Chongyue said it is better to leave him in the hands of our protagonists…. but they never even confronted him? 😅🤣
If I am not mistaken you are talking about Yu Chen ancestor of ML. Didn’t Yin Chongyue baby boyfriend say that he was definitely dead because nine lands did not allow anyone in nine lands to ascend to a higher world and anyone who tried to do so would explode?

The end was too abrupt for me. I was looking forward towards Duan Yuyang and Yuan Tianwen’s return in nine lands but, seems like author forgot their existence, they’re even wasn’t there when they were dealing with Tu Feng, lol. Also, the two tiger cubs. Anyways.. my fave novel has ended.. 😭 I don’t think I could find any cultivation novel as good as this. Others might bore me to death. I don’t know if I made a right decision reading this first😅

This is a novel that I first started with only about 40 or 50 chapters translated, and that I periodically gave up on then picked back up throughout the years. It’s probably the first novel that I followed from almost start to finish and, despite ups and downs in its quality (the novel itself not the translation), it has been an enjoyable journey overall, and the translation team was intrumental in that.

This is the longest but yet shortest book I have ever read. How can it just finish like that? Nothing that the author said from the very beginning comes through. The end was too rushed how come LZ is not a supreme ruler, YT don’t have a baby etc. say, don’t you think this needs some extras or a continuation book? I get why and how he got into cultivating evil Qi in the first place, but what about all the killing throughout mentioned? History claimed that Lingyu basically started a water. Why was it necessary to kill so many people?

I can’t believe it’s done. I’ve gotten so used to waking up and reading before getting ready for work. Reading in between work. Reading during my breaks. Reading before going to bed. I binged this story in only a few weeks but it consumed my days to the point I had some strange dreams of trees consuming other trees for cultivation. Hahaha… yes, it was an amazing journey but it’s time to say goodbye. Goodbyes are always sad for me but knowing I can always come back to see these characters again, makes it easier. The usual stages are Qi Refining stage, Foundation Building stage, Golden Core stage Nascent Soul stage, and they vary from this point on. Some only have Half-Immortal stage and Immortal stage. Whilst others have more. Tbh I’m not completely sure what stages they have in this novel as it’s not made very clear.
Fun read! Loved the little unexpected twists the author pulled. Ending was very rushed, the idea was all there just needed to be expanded into a few more chapters and EXTRAS were very much necessary. Thank to all the translators who worked on this novel.

Wow. I just spent the last two weeks binge reading through this story and I love this story so much. I love the effort the author made to make the storyline so complicated. I just wished they made more effort to fill up the plot holes and give us more closure but I guess an open ended finale is good too. I picked up a lot of hints that the plot holes were probably filled up in the background anyway.
