Was there ever am explanation for what’s different about evil qi compared to demonic qi and spiritual qi
Based on Lingyu’s memories; for one to cultivate evil qi, they first had to smash their dantian qi (the place that hold the spiritual/demonic qi). The resentment from having dantian qi broken (because for cultivator, dantian qi means everything that differentiated them and mortal), may successfully gave birth to new dantian qi(?) that is able to contain evil qi. But evil qi absorption required new meridian and acupunture point to be opened, since it circulated the body in different system than spiritual/demonic qi. Based on Ah Hen’s testimony, it is easier to absorp evil Qi through open cut wounds opening.
