As Shan Ziwei walked downstairs, he looked at the tracker on his wrist.
The multipurpose tracker was out of power again. The damned thing couldn’t be paused or put on standby. It only knew how to stupidly consume the battery power until it ran out. Shan Ziwei lacked the motivation to restart it again. Right now, the highest priority was not to dig out that little monster running around the hospital with a single tuft of his white hair flopping around on its head. He needed to gather with the rest of his teammates.
Sha Po Lang had gone to the traditional medicine department, Little Shuai was in the internal medicine department, while Guo Guoqing should be in the surgery department. Shan Ziwei headed to the department closest to his current location. He circled the internal medicine dept., but did not find Little Shuai or “Shen Shen”. Only after asking a passing nurse, did he find out that the guy had taken Shen Shen to find Guo Guoqing in the surgical dept.
Just listening to the description of the nurse, one could vividly imagine Little Shuai gnashing his teeth in anger. Shan Ziwei sighed regretfully, wistfully thinking, it’s nice to be young… He headed towards the surgical dept. after asking for directions from the nurse.
On his way, he passed by the tradition medicine department. Shan Ziwei swung in to take a look. He was somewhat unsurprised to find that Sha Po Lang and her “grandpa” weren’t around either. She probably took her family to go find Guo Guoqing like Little Shuai.
After a long journey, Shan Ziwei finally arrived at the far-away surgical department. Strangely, even after searching the entire department, he couldn’t even find a single hair of the people that were supposed to be there. Unexpectedly, even after asking around, he still had no idea where the three of them went. Shan Ziwei thought – perhaps they all decided to go to the maternity department together to find him? Thus, he reversed his path, but was stopped when he tried to go upstairs.
“The second floor corridor has been sealed off?”
The nurse blocking Shan Ziwei’s path said with some unease, “Yes, apparently some problems/issues cropped up up there. Right now, no one is allowed to go up.”
Shan Ziwei thought about that messy patient room upstairs, and felt unsettled. The hospital had probably already found Maria’s corpse. He then confirmed with the nurse that there was no one upstairs, and decided to go elsewhere to find those three mysteriously disappearing (and appearing) teammates.
For the next hour, Shan Ziwei flipped through the entire hospital. A certain hypersexual was exhausted both physically and mentally——What the heck was this situation, was he already considered a dead man in his teammates’ hearts?!! It was already bad enough that they didn’t look for him, but how could they not even leave a single message about where they’ve gone!!!
In the end, he found those three at the entrance of the hospital where they’d started. He couldn’t be blamed for not checking the entrance, it was simply that it was just physically impossible to see the green uhhh shield? And those three in front of it from inside the hospital! The moment he saw those three gathered in front of the entrance, Shan Ziwei impulsively wanted to hit each of them with a tracker shot——see if you guys can run around randomly again!!!

“I couldn’t kill him by myself, so the monster escaped and Maria died.”
After hearing Shan Ziwei’s words, the middle aged woman beside Little Shuai gasped and cried “Oh no, oh no”; the old man leaning on Sha Po Lang for support rigorously shook his head and let out a low sigh “What a sin”; meanwhile, the golden haired man sitting in a wheelchair by Guo Guoqing’s side immediately paled, clearly having received a shock.
“We have 40 minutes until the monster’s next evolution. I have already tagged it, so it won’t be difficult to find.” Shan Ziwei said as he changed the battery for his multi-purpose terminal, “You all have already rendezvoused with your loved ones, now we should be able to focus on the mission——”
