  13. I love The Wife is First, and Mr. Dior too, but Peach is on another level (lol). I started reading Peach last night and binged read till 4 am, then continue again after I woke up. I’m a little sad it ranked 3rd and therefore no extra chapters, and sad that I’ve caught up with the translation coz I’m always impatient, and thus always ends up MTLing (which isn’t fun lol). But I’m gonna impatiently wait for this.

  17. I know I’m the only one saying this and I may be getting hate for it but the MC’s mindset about certain things is a bit skewered. And it’s a bit irritating actually (maybe it’s bcz I’ve seen and read about this being done both irl and fiction).

    It really isn’t cute, sweet nor funny to just grab your friend’s or anyone’s crotch and other private parts and then have the gall to ask; why are you reacting that way? Are you a girl? Are you really straight? Etc etc

    And to also have a shocked pikachu face when they develop feelings for you. We know that they’ll be a couple but the MC doesn’t; everything and anything that doesn’t involve harming his mom and whoever else that he put under his wings is a playfield.

    I still love this novel and your superb translation❤

    • No actually those are valid points. Chen Ziqi’s not a terrible person/character, but his outlook on and approach to many things are by no means perfect and I think you touched on many of my issues with him
