Our Sweet DaysChapter 76

The barstool he was sitting on was heavenly. The cushion was a dark purple color and had just the right amount of bounce, letting him sink slightly down onto it. So with his head resting on his arms, and his arms hooked onto the bar’s counter, he was feeling very comfortable. Occasionally, he would raise his head and take a sip from the straw sitting in his drink, but he’d spent most of the past hour just sitting here quietly, resting.

For a resort bar, this place was surprisingly nice. Sun Fang eyed the dark wooden walls, the chandeliers hanging from the high ceiling, the impressive paintings on the walls. The floor was a cool, checkered pattern, and the music was a quick pop. His alcohol-free drink tasted fruity, like strawberry. PfRGvj

Sighing, he sat up and spun around on the chair. There were so many beautiful people here tonight—this was a high-end resort so naturally, the people who could afford it also had the means to beautify themselves (if they so desired). Sun Fang’s eyes swept over the loose crowd of people, his eyes lingering on those that were exceptionally pretty.

Finally, they stopped on a boy.

He blinked. Tilting his head slightly, he furrowed his brows as he thought furiously. He was… about thirty percent certain that he knew who that was. But he couldn’t tell from where and it was annoying him.

Putting his sunglasses back on his nose, he grabbed his drink and walked toward the pretty waiter that had caught his gaze. Curly hazel-colored hair, pinkish eyes, slightly tanned skin. A small, upturned nose and pink lips that jutted out just so as the boy pouted at something another waiter told him.  vZDf9a

As Sun Fang got nearer, the boy detected his presence and turned to him. With a professional smile, he asked, ”Can I help you with anything, sir?”

”Where to I know you from?” Sun Fang asked, stopping. He sipped at his straw while he waited.

The professional smile almost faltered. The boy said, ”I work as a model, sometimes. Will that be all or do you need any other assistance?”

”Oh, a model…” Sun Fang let go of the straw and licked his lips. He bobbed his head, ”That makes sense, you’re very pretty.”

The pink eyes narrowed. ”Thank you, sir. Do you need me to help you with anything?” Sun Fang shook his head. The boy pursed his lips and scrunched up his nose slightly, his eyebrows wrinkling. He said, coldly, ”May the rest of your day be wonderful,” and turned away, his shoulders drawn up.

Sun Fang raised a brow and said, amused, ”I didn’t mean anything by it. You’re just very pretty and it annoyed me that I didn’t know why I recognized you. Sorry for bothering you.”

”It’s fine,” the boy said, voice terse. He glanced quickly at Sun Fang over his shoulder, pink eyes drifting over Sun Fang’s body and back up again. Sun Fang smiled, radiating as much beauty as he possibly could. And there was quite a lot of it—today was a particularly good day for him. If he was pretty on a normal day, he was spectacularly beautiful today!

”May I ask your name?” Sun Fang asked, smiling excessively gently.  R8zBES

The boy turned back to him, evidently forgetting he was mad and about to storm off. Narrowing his eyes, he looked him over again, his eyes catching on Sun Fang’s gold bracelets, earrings, necklaces and gold-studded sunglasses. It was blatantly clear that the expensive things that Sun Fang were wearing was the deciding factor for the boy—omega, by the smell of it—to say, ”Hua Xingyi.”

He looked expectantly at Sun Fang, his eyes clearly expressing his annoyance at Sun Fang taking his time. Sun Fang ruthlessly suppressed the giggle that wanted to leave him, and instead, after taking a very long sip from his drink, said, ”I’m Sun Fang. It’s a pleasure to meet you.”

The boy’s eyebrows wrinkled. ”Are you flirting?” he abruptly asked, his back straightening, his body leaning away from him a little. His eyes blazing with suspicion, he asked, ”Is that was this is?”

”It’s an attempt, yes,” Sun Fang confirmed. He cocked an eyebrow and smoothly asked, ”How about it? Feel like surrendering to my omega wiles?” For good measure, he wiggled his platinum-colored eyebrows. 5XuIQa

The boy grimaced. ”Ew,” he said. Then he winced, seeming to realize that he wasn’t supposed to say ew to the bar’s clients, and straightened up again. He peeked at Sun Fang (Sun Fang heartlessly forced his facial muscles not to move), fiddled a little with his shirt’s cuff and emended, ”I mean, sex is annoying. I don’t really wanna do it tonight.”

”Fair,” Sun Fang acknowledged. ”How about this, how amenable are you to giving me your number? I would love to get to know you better.”

Hua Xingyi’s eyes narrowed again. The pink orbs glanced from Sun Fang to the other waiters in the bar, to the bar’s rich clients. His eyes fell on Sun Fang’s sunglasses again. Sun Fang could actually see him gulp, his eyes basically making money signs. It was fascinating. ”Sure,” the other omega said after a beat, fumbling around for a napkin and frowning at it when he realized that he didn’t have a pen.

Sun Fang pulled his phone out of his pocket, unlocked it with his fingerprint, and went to his contacts list. ”Tell me you number,” he said, effortlessly using one hand to work his phone. 8MsdN5

”Oh, okay,” Hua Xingyi put the napkin back in pocket and quickly babbled a string of numbers. Luckily, Sun Fangs was pretty good at deciphering babbling and he easily typed it in. Then he showed the result to Hua Xingyi and only when the boy nodded, did he click save.

”Ah, by the way,” Sun Fang said, realizing he’d almost forgotten, ”How old are you?”

”Thirty-six,” Hua Xingyi said, his head tilting a little in askance. Sun Fang simply shook his head. He’d been worried for a bit because Hua Xingyi was so pretty, but thankfully he wasn’t too young. Whew.
