    • ikr… I was really liking this ML before this chapter……… alright, actually, after re-reading it, Scott and Caesar really did sense some strange spiritual power in WZM’s room, a known null (I forget what not-sentinel/guides are called in this story), so like…. it was a sudden intrusion into his territory with unknown intentions toward the person he wants to keep. Even if that spiritual power was alluring and the suddenly released pheromones attracted him, I can excuse him bursting in, especially if WZM wasn’t responding to his knocks, if you look at it like that. I think Scott, even if he’s a bit befuddled by a sexy-whammy, would still not allow the person who sexy-whammied him to harm his people.

      So while, like, on one hand, Scott should obviously suspect that Wu Zimo is a guide, but I don’t think they’ve ever documented a guide that can hide his own pheromones?? So it’s not 100% a give away that Wu Zimo is a guide and not that they just have some super powerful intruder. Plus, recently, the Hells Corp has come under strange attacks… all of these strange attacks are all actually Wu Zimo, but who would expect some 18yo who tested negative for being a Guide to be the source??? That said, at the rate things are going, Scott is really gonna pull a Mocca and excite himself into actual Manic Episode.

    • I’m wondering when WZM realizes that he has no real privacy and Scott can simply force open any door he wants. You’re right, it’s not cool.

      In a previous chapter, we are told that even Caesar doesn’t know what this mysterious reaction Scott has to WZM. So I’m afraid our winged kitty will flatten / destroy our menu egg before the misunderstanding is cleared. 🥺

  24. Im hoping that Ares would kind of hatch once WZ’s spiritual strength stabilizes (it looks like it is still growing) before the revel happens.

    Like imagine there is a scene where something important is happening- fighting zergs or whatever- and all of a sudden an egg randomly appears and starts to hatch. Then, whatever the heck was in there, flies over to WZ trying to sell meng as it is excited to have finally matured and Oops, cats out of the bag guys.

    Though I doubt that is what will happen, a reader can only dream.
