As it turned out, tea was always the better choice. It had a lot of the passion fruit’s pulpy seeds in it, which made it taste refreshingly sour.
After Ye Chen was done eating and drinking, Ren Jing swapped their drinks again before the flight attendant came to clear away the plates and cups.
An empty cup which used to have roasted coffee in it was placed in front of Ye Chen, while the empty plate and tea set were laid in front of Ren Jing.
Ye Chen felt deeply touched by his gesture. He used to dislike Ren Jing’s smooth character because he felt he was ‘two-faced’. But now that he had seen his personality first-hand, he realized Ren Jing was a much better person than what he imagined!
Ren Jing didn’t want Ye Chen to feel bored, so he struck up a conversation and the two chatted the time away. Ye Chen was chattery himself, so the moment Ren Jing initiated the conversation, Ye Chen started talking nonstop. They chatted to their heart’s content.

‘More spacious’? Not really, actually. The bed was still pretty cramped despite being called a ‘double bed’. It wouldn’t be much of a problem if they raised the partition and slept separately, but now that the partition was gone, they practically had to huddle together as they slept!

1) From what I understand and observed, I think Ye Chen is demi (same goes with Ren Jing)! He used to think that he was straight, though. But it’s just my guess about his sexuality, so please take it with a grain of salt ><. And yep, author never mentioned that he had been in a relationship. Seeing the way he acts with Ren Jing, we could see that he isn’t experienced with dating and things like that, too~
2) Well… It’s actually more of envy and Ye Chen being fed up with Ren Jing. His mother is Ren Jing’s fan, so she often dressed him up like Ren Jing, which adds up to his annoyance. It’s no wonder he declared just how much he “dislike” Ren Jing at first (his parents and close friends knew about it wwww)! And he said “dislike”, but later admitted that Ren Jing is amazing; that he’s handsome, has good acting skills, is tall, etc… Without him knowing it, he had kinda become Ren Jing’s fan lololol… So much with the “hate” and “dislike” xD. Not to mention after he fell in love with Ren Jing and going “awesome! awesome!!” all over… Just the cutest. Much love. Smooches. (Sorry, I just love my children so much sdfgjdhfjfgjd)
