    Aaaah, MC when will you fix your personality? I agree you can’t get used to it immediately. But you’ve been there for more than a year. You saw countless people being killed right before your eyes. Did you learn nothing from it? Seriously? I’m speechless by how slow he’s progressing. ಠ_ಠ

    • Rlly? I don’t really think that his mentality is weak, I just think that his character is very realistic compared to other novels.

      • Hm…Idk…I don’t expect him to be bloodthirsty all of a sudden…I just want him to stop being a startled rabbit when he gets the first inkling that something’s not right or going according to plan…In real life, no matter how much you plan, everything goes to shit anyway. He needs to learn to be prepared for the worst case scenario. Especially when his life is on stake. That’s my problem with him. Overall yeah, he’s cute. But I like the ML way more than MC sometimes. This is just my preference though. I like more courageous, smart MCs. :’D

        • The thing with MC’s growth is that he’s been protected very well so far by ML. He’s almost never been exposed to actual danger aside from his initial runaway before meeting ML and that one hunting trip. Most of the time he spends indoors, and whenever something that requires planning or thinking comes along, he throws he matter to ML to handle. So in this time he has grown a bit — he’s no longer shocked at the sight of gore. But he’s still got a long way to go. That’s why the next arc in the sect is a important one. That’s the arc where MC truly starts to learn how to stand on his own without being coddled.
