  1. GYTH is the model of what an ideal young master / clan heir should be, able to focus on the big picture and balance it against the short term gains.

    Translation Notes:

Regarding the chapter title, I'd suggest "Battle" or "Tournament" instead of "War". It's a bit spoilery, but the actual event is more of a tournament style format than it is a battlefield type melee.

"Ah Zuo doesn’t fully understand how seemingly vast and boundless the Tianwu Continent really is. However, it definitely isn’t the only continent." –> "Ah Zuo may not know this, but the Tianwu Continent may look boundless, but it is not the only one."

"Our Tianwu Continent is merely a third class continent [2]." — Actually on this one I think the author's typo is actually the subject of the sentence: "Cangyun Kingdom is merely a third class nation". The actual competition is between participating nations, and the resulting ranks are given to the winners' nation, not the continent.

"the achievements of each country’s martial artists determine that country’s strength as well as that country’s quality of goods. And as for the quality of goods…" –> Rather than "quality of goods", I'd suggest "ranking".

Gongyi Tianheng broke into laughter: “This time, the future is uncertain –> GYTH broke into laughter but did not refute the statement. "This time, the future…"

It wouldn’t be long for huge changes to occur. –> Over the long term, there would definitely be a huge effect.

  2. In short… selling them thst way helps the future generations as a whole.

  3. It helps the empire and will make the Gongyi Clan richer and richer for generations to come. Ergo, thier power will increase as well.
What a scary Mt. Tai character.
Kudos to the author for actually building up his character. ୧(^ 〰 ^)୨
The ML should be SI in ASOIAF/Game of Thrones.

  4. Awwww. ML is so patriotic. yingyingying!

    Thanks for the chapter!

  5. So if this tournament is held every fifty years, shouldn’t Clan heads know about this?? What about the previous one? Who participated?

Hope author expands more on it in future.

    Thanks for the chapter.

  6. I like this kind of character. It really annoys me when an MC-type character swallows everything without a care for future generations. Recall that Gu Zuo previously left some viper flowers because he cared about the future and didn’t want to let them become extinct. This is how MC-type characters should be.

  7. I was always wondering why their levels is only at perfected Xiantian stages at best. So low, and now we’re talking!

May good things to come~ (◦˙▽˙◦)
