  1. Gu Zuo is certainly growing bolder by the day, he’s no longer afraid of teasing his big brother 🤗

Thank you for the chapter! 🌸

  2. GZ. “How terrible! The meat is spoiling!” Housewife GZ is activated. 😉

    Thank you and take care

  3. Congrats on GZ’s first heroic act! He doesn’t get a lot of these, since his profession is usually backline support, so let’s all cheer for him!

    Translation notes:

Some poisons could strengthen one another, while others would restrain them. –> while others could cancel each other out.

Previously, when several of the wild bears fought alongside Gongyi Tianheng and the others against the countless, encircling wild leopards, they gradually weakened. –> Previously, the wild bears fought alongside… (the bears are the subject of this sentence and the next one)

Having never previously sought me out, he gave me a full report. –> He never sought me out to give a report.

  4. Our baby Ah Zuo has become so heroic!! I’m so proud of him sniff :’)

I loved how he and Tianheng killed that beast and then how he fell into big brother’s arms 💗

    Thanks for the chapter ~🌸

  5. Tianheng & Gu Zuo unknowingly feeding everyone nearby dog food with their unknowing love of each other.

  6. And this is why I have trust issues. – says someone XD Guess nobody can be trusted unless they were people you personally brainwashed perfectly like the Shadow Guards. Death to the snitch.

  7. thanks for the chapter!

i actually sympathise with gu wang quite a bit… if i was sold into a slavery to someone who courts death for a living and can control my body like a puppet against my will to use as a meat shield or a sacrifice… i would also try my best to break free and kill my slavemaster. the trauma and anxiety of being treated like an object would cloud my eyes of how generous of a master tiangheng actually is. it’s a pity he ended up this way…

  8. Oh my.

But why didn’t he just talk to him and try to work something out? A vow of silence or something in return for freedom? Tianheng could’ve used him as a spy or something.

  9. Not wanting to be a slave is extremely reasonable? It’s pretty obnoxious expect loyalty from someone you forced to work for you.

    • Agreed. Forcing someone to do anything does not foster loyalty no matter how ‘benevolent’ the slave owner.

They should have told the slaves that after doing x, y, and z they can become free. Or, better yet, show them some potential benefits and ask them to sign a contract (like those pharmacists) or let them go free after they could pay off their cost (from buying them). That would have restricted the actions of the former slaves and made them less likely to betray. Especially since it seems most martial artists jump at the chance to grow stronger. So I bet they would have willingly signed the contract.

  10. aw Gu Zuo really is growing up huh!!! aaaand that unintentional dogfood~~ i want more ah!! hahahahaha thank u for the chapter <3
