  1. Dun dun dun. Sounds like it’s time for conflict to find our protagonists again.

    Translation notes:

The piece of plywood Gu Zuo who’d been nearly forgotten also hurriedly went out. –> The piece of background scenery GZ…

This wouldn’t be considered cauldron scrap. It’d be great if I could refine five or six pills from an exploded cauldron batch.” –> This doesn’t include scrapped cauldrons. If any batches explode, it would be great if I could refine five or six pills.

In additionally, Gu Zuo had completely failed to react to Xu Lingxiu’s use of psychic power! –> Additionally, GZ had completely failed to detect any signs of XLX using his psychic power!

So-called pharmacists could spend psychic power, but in fact, it was a type of latent use. –> The pharmacist’s so-called usage of psychic power was, in actual fact, a type of subconscious use.

  2. “As for how Lu Jiusi fell in love at first sight with an eleven or twelve-year-old little girl” 🤢🤢🤢🤮

    • I know right? There are just some practices that doesn’t make sense to transfer from Ancient China genre to Cultivation genre. You’d think people whose goal is primarily to extend their lifespans wouldn’t be looking into early marriage. You’d think people would want to wait until they could be sure the potential life partner will have roughly the same remaining lifespan before committing to anything.

      • Mn, I agree with you. I have quite some thoughts on this, but concerning cultivation, this novel is quite different from the usual xianxia so far and I can’t comment on it considering we haven’t actually gotten almost any info on how a martial artist cultivates here (I’m referring to not just the physical part of gathering energy but the part of cultivation concering The Dao). Marriage and romance in xianxia is a topic I find very interesting and worth discussing, even just based on how different of a role it could have in each “world” because of many different cultivation systems. What and how you cultivate, what you seek, your relations to the world that surrounds you… I could really go on and on about this haha 😅
  3. Thank you and take care.

Little bunny missing his master. Bet he made a lot of pills out of loneliness.

  4. If only they knew how powerful Ah Zuo really is haha…

That surnamed Lu gives me the creeps, falling for a 11-12 years old girl and all his scheming and general vibe makes me uncomfortable. I hope they deal with him soon.

On the other hand the tsundere little prince and the two siblings are very endearing~

Thank you very much for the chapter~🌸

  5. Well, at least Gu Zuo didn’t completely waste time on visiting the little pharmasist prince every day!

Thank you for the chapter! 🌸

  6. Aaaa what happened XD Is this the time when Gu Zuo save Tianheng??

  7. oh golly…. do they know that if they asked gu zuo for help, it’d be done in just over 4 days?? purple clothes can refine 7 pills a day on a good day, that would take at least 8 days. gu zuo i assume could refine 3 pills per batch, and let’s give him the same amount of batches per day, that makes 21 pills per day as a lowball estimate. And they’d probably be top grade too! facepalms
