  1. Ohh, I thought the phenomenon was somehow related to the possibility of a breakthrough for Tianheng, but it didn’t occur to me that he would need to feed poison to his bone pearls 😱

    The author’s really inventive 😋

Thank you very much for the translation ❤

    • Either that, or if you remember the Qi testing stone earlier, GZ’s was white due to medical qi, and Tianheng’s was grey – So his element might be poison? Poison and cure, ML and MC have such compatible Qi’s, haha

  2. Somehow the thought of Tianheng’s bone pearls thirsting for poison is really funny. If he ascends based off of having guzzled several different kinds of poison, I can only imagine how hard it’ll be to assassinate him after that…

    Thanks for the chapter (/^▽^)/

  3. Wow, I didn’t think Gongyi Tianheng’s body would absorb the poison like that. Thanks for translating!

  4. So basically after a while neither of them will be able to be poisoned. GZ body will just purify it and GT body will absorb it. Well at least they don’t have to worry about being poisoned

  5. Y’know. If GZ hadn’t been there or hadn’t been able to produce the antidote, it occurs to me that there’s a good chance GYTH would’ve still survived the xiantian ghost poison. He would just have to undergo the xianxia cliche of horrifically painful sudden powerup which leaves him with side effects and half dead, lol…

    Translation suggestions:

Because the poison was too concentrated when big brother was first poisoned, the bone pearls probably couldn’t bear to receive anything and were contaminated. –> …the bone pearls couldn’t adapt, and that allowed you to be infected.

and a streak of madness flashed through the depths of his eyes –> Maybe switch “madness” for “zeal”/”fanatacism”/”recklessness” so it sounds less negative? I mean, GYTH isn’t hiding actual insanity or anything.

Without carrying any expectations, the area around the cut –> As expected, the area…

    “…En, not bad.” –> “…En, that’s about enough.”

    • Thanks for the corrections! And yeah, the whole trope where the MC suffers a set-back that’s actually a power-up would’ve fit really well here!

  6. since it’s appearance, it’s simply illogical for our people to get poisoned. I’m glad that this author doesn’t make us suffer

    thanks for the chapter.

  7. The grey matches the attribute color, doesn’t it? He has water, earth, metal, fire, wood, and poisonous attributes. One set of bone pearls per attribute. He needs all six sets to be satisfied in order to level up.

  8. I remember reading the manga “Kusuriya no Hitorigoto” ages ago. The MC there likes to try different kinds of poison with a face like she’s having a best meal ever.

Tianheng is definitely an M. I approve of that ⌓‿⌓
