It's Easy to Take Care of a Live-in Hero!Chapter 41.2

Second half from different POV. AtvXHy

I never thought that God’s “bridge” would allow me to come and go freely!

There were so many things I wanted to say, but in the end I couldn’t utter a word, be it cursing or thanking God. Besides, everything seemed trivial at the moment.

For me, only one thing was important now.

Sig had watched the development of the story with rapt attention, holding my shoulder.  voRzTj

“Then…” I said, still in a daze as I stared into those purple eyes. My voice trembled just a hint. “Then, can I return to this place again?”

Those dazzling amethyst orbs gradually widened in surprise. “You can return?”

“It seems so. Looks like… both of us misunderstood,” I said, my face busy switching back and forth between laughing and crying.

Sig’s stare was fixed on me when all of a sudden, his face crumpled.

After that, we spent a long time talking about our “dream of the future.” I also talked a lot about the “world” beyond the bridge. WHCpjo

Of course, we discussed this in the bedroom.

From now on, the days would grow busier. There wasn’t enough money yet to build a bridge, and we hadn’t cleared any of the usage conditions.

“This is still far away in the future, but if possible, I’d like to return here as soon as I can, once I’m able to cross the bridge.”

“Yeah. That sounds good.” doDwp7

I raised my face, surprised peppering my cheeks due to Sig’s words, He kissed the tears welling in my eyes, licking them away. My body heated up in an instant.

Unlike me, Sig didn’t appear unattractive after crying. His passionate eyes and pale skin that had been tinted red were breathtaking, to the point of taking my breath away.

The corners of that handsome man’s lips slowly quirked upwards.

“I will definitely make up for the time I spent waiting for you. Once you return, I won’t allow you to escape my clutches for a while.” kLeusM

“…Yes.”

I grew aroused by Sig’s heroic manly charm.

Once my father had just arrived home, he pointed to a set of tableware before asking, “What’s this for?”

There were plates and cutlery, bowls and glasses neatly arranged on the table. I shot my gaze at the set Father had pointed out and tilted my head in confusion. We were a family of four, but there was one set extra.

This had been my first time house-sitting alone. After my mother had not returned home after the scheduled time, my father stood in wait in front of the bridge. Motionless. I gave his back a push and asked, “Why don’t you go pick him up, Father?” After an hour of unease, he finally left. When it came to Mother, Father sometimes acted like a child.  RzvXM4

“Did you make curry? You did well even though you were alone, eh?”

“Ah, that’s right, Father! A visitor came here before.” The moment I had heard Father’s words, I remembered that I made the “curry” with that person. However―

“Visitor?”

“Who was it again…?” Strangely, I couldn’t recall that person’s face or name. I couldn’t even be sure whether they were a man or a woman.  QJid6Z

However, knowing that person was no longer here caused me a sense of deep loneliness.

“No one should be able to come to this place,” Father said, staring straight at me. His expression was sharp, but he wasn’t blaming me. Mel hopped onto my shoulder, more restless than usual.

“That’s true, but…”

Ouch. Stop biting my ears, Mel. sDNFTi

“Don’t worry. I’m sure they weren’t a bad person. I can tell just by looking at your face. Not to mention, Mel is also in a good mood.”

I cast my eyes down without a word, and Father stroked my head. I liked it when he did that. Without realizing it, I cheered up, the loneliness from before vanishing.

Mother always praised me for resembling Father a lot, but I wondered how much harder I had to work before I was as big as him.

That’s right, Mother! ARsn5d

“Where is Mother?”

Father pointed behind me with his chin.

As soon as I turned around, I caught sight of Mother standing at the entrance to the living room, and I rushed towards him.

  1. I’m happy to see it was something like “can’t remember/recognize the face” because it thought it was odd that Ray didn’t realize Minoru was his mom. I thought this meant that Minoru had to leave before the kids were old enough to clearly see his face and didn’t return before they were so big. But that isn’t the case so… 😍😍😍

    Thank you for the translation!

  2. Ah phack! Where’s my snu snu? Where’s my beautiful child ‘birth’, ah? wails

Thank you for the update though.

  3. Hehehe so Minoru really went to the future, but he didn’t change anything there. Just met their Child ahead of Time.

    Thanks for the chapter!

  4. Wait. Wait. I don’t understand a few things! Why would he die if he stayed here? Why would he not die if he went and then came back?? Like, wha-
