    • Hahahaha, very true, they both have a lot of denial going on, although I would argue they’re both already falling for each other (except they both have no idea what those feelings are because they’ve both never fallen in love with anyone before hahaha)

      • Right. They don’t know love. Huanhuan doesn’t, even though he was chased by girls, but he never thought deeper than the feelings itself since, with his mentality that’s too realistic, imo he only thought of love as a superficial feeling.

        Xiang would more likely not thought of love. Xiang’s life, as i saw, revolves only in school, family, and his hobbies – basketball and online games. Also, he is aware of his image as a cold guy, and so Xiang would less thought of romantic relationships.

        These two… seems like cynical in the thought of love. Huanhuan felt love is superficial because of what happened to his sister being cheated, and of his friend LWH who was fed of fake love in the game (also cheated). Huanhuan of course would think that all feelings might be sincere but not love. Xiang sees first hand how his cousin/ dormmate Lu Hang change girls like he’s changing his clothes (a slag guy) and so Xiang would think feelings are cheap. And so it’s no wonder Huanhuan and Xiang can be cynical in love (though this is just a possibility i thought but not confirmed in the novel).

        Huanhuan already starts to like his senior but he thought it was only respect (to a senior) and admiration (of Xiang’s good looks and talent in basketball) . Xiang already likes Huanhuan but he thought it was only responsibility as a senior (to take good care of a junior) and admiration (of Huanhuan’s good looks and talent in basketball).

        So… aren’t these feelings already the start of like?! 😂😂😂😂😂😂 they both have an affection to each other, yet too dumb of their feelings. I wonder who will realize their feelings first? 😂😂😂😂

        • Haha, no I love your long comments! I look forward to them! I would argue though that it might not be complete cynicism so much as just obliviousness and maybe wanting a deeper connection. Like Huanhuan has rejected multiple girls’ feelings because he cites that none of them really know him, and it sounds like XHZ did something similar. Also, just neither of them up until now had ever met anyone that really moved them it sounds like. (And yes, their relationship is developing nicely along :DDD)

So even though Xiang may already like Huanhuan but he just couldn’t ‘expose’ Huanhuan by PM-ing Huanhuan that he (Xiang) already knows Xiao Tianjing is Huanhuan? 😂😂😂 Xiang, like when he ‘discovered’ Huanhuan is ‘gay’, he respects Huanhuan playing as XTJ thus not informing Huanhuan he already knows Huanhuan’s ‘secret’.
