Free Ren YiguCh15 - Extra (3) Xue Yaozu’s past

Ren Yigu was paired off with someone else.

Xue Yaozu was paired off with a chatterbox. It was incredibly obvious that the teacher wanted him to talk more.  hYqj1H

Xue Yaozu was pretty depressed, but had no choice but to accept this decision. On the other hand, that chatterbox was pretty enthusiastic, for as soon as he got the news, he ran over to the classroom and went to Xue Yaozu to get to know him and get familiar with each other

From start to finish Xue Yaozu only said three words. FZbeo8

The chatterbox asked, “You’re Xue Yaozu, right?”

Xue Yaozu replied, “En.”

The chatterbox said, “We’ve been paired up together! Let’s first get to know each other.”

7rImyp

Xue Yaozu replied, “En.”

The millions of words the chatterbox had said in between have been omitted.

Afterwards, Ren Yigu came and talked to the chatterbox, “So you were over here, huh? Come over and do me a favour, the music room is doing a cleanup, let’s go over together and move the piano.” c7K1CT

The chatterbox said to Xue Yaozu, “Then I’ll go over for now, next time I’ll come find you.”

“En.” Xue Yaozu replied.

He watched as the chatterbox and Ren Yigu walked out together a few steps, but then suddenly, Ren Yigu came back again. He asked Xue Yaozu, “Hey, classmate, are you busy right now?” uFiyTQ

Xue Yaozu hesitantly shook his head.

Ren Yigu smiled in that way again, then said, “Then how about you come over and help too!”

Xue Yaozu didn’t say anything.

Ren Yigu clasped his hands together and held them by his chest. “I’m begging you, come and lend a hand, I’ll give you a drink as thanks.” vciT9d

And so Xue Yaozu was dragged over to help move the piano.

When they’d finished moving everything, Ren Yigu treated everyone to drinks.

While everyone wasn’t paying attention, Xue Yaozu silently left.  68wjvZ

But after school had ended, the chatterbox came and found him again. “Ah, why’d you leave? Yigu asked me to bring you this, cuz he said that he’d promised to treat you. He didn’t know what flavour you liked, so he just randomly picked one. If you don’t like it then you can switch it.”

Xue Yaozu didn’t say anything, accepted the juice and put it in his backpack.

  4KJhq5

The chatterbox continued rambling on to Xue Yaozu.

As Xue Yaozu slung on his backpack and headed out, he was still rambling.

Up to the school entrance, he was still jabbering on. When they got there, Xue Yaozu remembered that he hadn’t taken his homework with him. It was probably because of the chatterbox’s prattling that he’d forgotten. He had no choice but to go back to the classroom to get his homework, but when he got to the classroom doorway, he stopped. He heard the people inside gossiping about Ren Yigu.

  5 J2LK

The kid who was blathering on the loudest was Ren Yigu’s paired partner. He said, “My mom said she knows about Ren Yigu’s mom!”

“I’ve always felt that Ren Yigu doesn’t fucking look like a guy.”

“No wonder my fucking woman’s been seduced by him.”

“Before I told you all that I saw him being close to some high-school guy, but you guys didn’t believe me! Fuck, some girls even fucking said I was seeing gayness everywhere. Who the heck is the one who is looking at people gay.” IaPVrx

“Hey, you’re his partner, so why don’t you think of a way to find things out!”

That lot was noisy, like a bunch of chattering, shrill monkeys. Not much time passed before they’d taken their backpacks with them and left the classroom, ready to go home.

When they came out of the classroom door, they saw Xue Yaozu, who had been standing behind the door like a ghost. That’d given them a fright. “Are you crazy?! That freaking scared me to death!” IQVWm6

Xue Yaozu stared at the person who had started the conversation. He stared for a moment, then abruptly slammed the guy by the collar into the flower bed.

For the first time, Xue Yaozu found out that he could fight. And what’s more, he was damn good at it.

  N82fld

Although when he was done fighting, he found that he was sore and exhausted all over. His hands were trembling and his brain still felt all woozy.

The chatterbox had been waiting by the school gates for a long time without anyone coming out, so he went back to find Xue Yaozu. When he arrived, he was greeted with the sight of a great mess. He was shocked silly, then after a moment of getting his thoughts together he yelped, “You guys are fighting——ah——”

Xue Yaozu had already moved beside him and covered his mouth with his hand. He said, voice low, “Shut up.” GmIcf8

The chatterbox’s eyes bugged out and looked at Xue Yaozu as if he didn’t know him.

Just now, Xue Yaozu’s glasses had fallen during the fight and his sweaty bangs had gotten swept to the side to reveal his smooth forehead and his eyes.

The chatterbox almost didn’t recognize him at first.

Those students were now trying to help the one that had been beaten up the most stand up. They were just about to say something now, when Xue Yaozu interrupted and said, “Shut up!”

Everyone involuntarily shut their mouths, even if they didn’t exactly know why they listened.

Xue Yaozu, without glasses, stared coldly at them, then said, “Y-you. Y-you guys. B-bullied. Me.”

Everyone: “………………………………”

Shameless! Who the heck bullied who?!

  Brqn2i

Xue Yaozu repeated himself. “I-if. Y-you guys. Talk about. This. Th-then. I’ll tell. The t-teacher. Y-y-you guys. Bullied. M-me.”

When the stutterer finally finished speaking, everyone finally realized that this wasn’t the time to laugh.

The teacher would be more than willing to believe Xue Yaozu.

   AsnQRd

Afterwards, this incident became ‘the kid who got beaten up had been on the flower bed fooling around and was accidentally nudged by Xue Yaozu’.

What’s more, this was the insider’s version.

The public version was that the kid who got beaten up had been up on the flower bed fooling around and had tripped by himself. 20PACy

Xue Yaozu opened the door and stared at him for three seconds. He then slammed the door shut with a bang.

Ren Yigu shouted from outside, “I’m Ren Yigu! We’re partners!”

Xue Yaozu slumped against the door, not wanting to move.

Although the living room wasn’t messy, it was very shabby. There was a lot of stuff, but they were all trash. Recently it had been constantly raining, so their clothes were hung out to dry in the living room.  vHdQnl

Ren Yigu knocked on the door for a while. When he saw that it still didn’t open, he said, “Sorry, I didn’t notify you beforehand. When I called no one answered….”

Please support our translators at chrysanthemumgarden (dot) com

That’s because the phone bill wasn’t paid.

“Then I’ll put the fruits by the door. Remember to come and get them later, I’m going back now then.” Hh31ad

Xue Yaozu looked down at the floor, then abruptly turned and opened the door.

Ren Yigu was still standing by the doorway and hadn’t left. He grinned at him as he said, “I was just joking.”

Xue Yaozu: “……..”

  YtdQsB

Ren Yigu said sheepishly, “Sorry, but I really did call, it just didn’t pick up. It just so happens that I have some errands to run in the area, so when I remembered that your house was around here I decided to come and say hi. If it’s really inconvenient for you, then I can go back, but I’m too lazy to bring the fruits back. I didn’t buy them anyways, they were given to us by a friend’s auntie who got them from the countryside. They’re grown a bit big and don’t look as nice, but they’re really sweet.”

Xue Yaozu hesitated, then with great difficulty said, “Wait. Here.”

When he finished talking, he gathered all the clothes out to dry in the living room and took them to his dad’s room; throwing them onto the bed.

His dad was lying there daydreaming, and suddenly he was drowning in clothes. He looked at his kid in shock. FbLlwt

Xue Yaozu just about threw all the trash into the main bedroom, then finally opened that steel door, letting Ren Yigu in. He even opened the living room lights.

Ren Yigu felt like it was a little weird. “It’s sunny outside.”

Xue Yaozu didn’t say anything.  odBekh

Ren Yigu had already gone over to the windows and pulled those longtime sealed curtains open. “Look, the sun came out.”

Sunlight streamed into the room

Ren Yigu closed the incandescent lights. “Try and save energy ah.”

   H4KYZ7

Ren Yigu didn’t take himself for an outsider. He carried the fruits over to the kitchen to wash, and asked while washing, “Is auntie working right now?”

Xue Yaozu replied, “En.”

Story translated by Chrysanthemum Garden.

Ren Yigu asked, “Where’s uncle?”

Xue Yaozu didn’t say anything.  FA3X7f

Ren Yigu said, “Even if you don’t tell me I know.”

Xue Yaozu lowered his head and looked at the floor.

  0Ik7dD

After Ren Yigu finished washing the fruits he took a fruit knife and cut them into little pieces, then put them into a bowl. Next, he took out some toothpicks from his bag as if he was doing a magic trick and stuck them into the fruit. Finally, he carried the bowl of fruits to the bedroom and knocked on its door. “Hi Uncle, I’m Wang Bei’s classmate.”

Xue Yaozu: “……..”

Wait a moment, who was Wang Bei? mQ lIi

Oh yeah, the name of the kid who was hit is Wang Bei.

Xue Yaozu’s dad stayed in his dumbstruck state.

His son had suddenly taken the clothes in the living room and thrown them onto the bed, then after that, a youth came and said that he was Wang Bei’s classmate, but then who was Wang Bei…… zbKZqt

This youth carried a bowl of fruit and put it beside him, acted as if it was his house and opened the curtains, put the clothes out on the balcony to hang, and then enthusiastically chattered away while sitting next to the bed. He said that Wang Bei was very involved in school, actively participated in the sports meet, and even helped classmates move tables.

So who in the world was Wang Bei?

Xue Yaozu received his dad’s cry for help inside his gaze, then silently shook his head and then pointed at Ren Yigu, whose back was facing him, then pointed at his head. BV5lTg

Xue Yaozu’s dad was shocked.

Story translated by Chrysanthemum Garden.

Xue Yaozu couldn’t say for certain what he was thinking either, perhaps he was a little unhappy.  liwn4H

He hadn’t thought of the possibility that even now, Ren Yigu still didn’t know who he was.

So all those things before really were all just coincidences.

Although he’d already thought early on that it could only be a coincidence, he was still a little unhappy.

Since it was already like this, Xue Yaozu was too lazy to explain. N0R5Q6

It looked as if Ren Yigu wanted to stay for dinner, but in the end, he remembered he still had some errands to run and had to hurry back.

Xue Yaozu accompanied him down, then out of the building. Ren Yigu said, “I really apologize about appearing without prior notice, when you have time then come over to my house and play.”

Xue Yaozu didn’t say anything.  MJZwCb

Ren Yigu said, “If you have the time then you should regularly open the curtains, don’t keep it so stuffy, it’s not good for sick people, he’s got to get more sunshine.”

Xue Yaozu still didn’t say anything.

Ren Yigu very earnestly said, “Really, I’m not joking. I have a friend whose mom is a doctor.”

Xue Yaozu nodded.  5WyiQI

Ren Yigu laughed again, “Then when will you come over to my house to play?”

Xue Yaozu didn’t say anything.

Ren Yigu said, “Then how about next week? Next week my mom, dad and big brother are all not home, so we can cook for ourselves.”

  gTcaBV

After walking Ren Yigu outside, Xue Yaozu came back home and heard his dad ask, “Who was that?”

Xue Yaozu replied, “C-class mate.”

His dad sighed. “He seems like a pretty good person, so sad that his brain has some problems.”

Xue Yaozu “N-no, he. Mis-mistook me. For s-someone. Else.” 4SuoE

His dad couldn’t really understand the current youth’s world. How can someone even mistake a classmate? But he didn’t continue asking questions and just turned to look out the window.

The sun outside the window was setting,

   leaoC

When Xue Yaozu’s mother came home that night she furrowed her brows and asked, “How come the curtains are open?”

Xue Yaozu stopped her from closing the curtains, but he wouldn’t speak either.

His dad quickly said, “Today one of his classmates came.”

His mom looked at him in doubt. “What classmate? What was it for?” w7o8j6

“I don’t know either, he just said he came to see me.” His dad replied.

His mom was even more perplexed. “Yao Yao, was it a bully?”

Xue Yaozu shook his head and said, “A friend.”

   pxvZid

Never before had Xue Yaozu looked forward to the coming of a weekend as much as he did now.

He’d only managed to pass the week by staring at Ren Yigu.

Fortunately, Ren Yigu was very lively and could be seen everywhere.  dXVAK

On Monday morning he’d definitely be able to see him, since he was the host. In between classes, he’d be able to hear his voice on the broadcast. During P.E. was even easier, as whenever the girls high-pitched shouting lasting longer than five minutes then that meant that Ren Yigu was playing basketball.

Until Friday afternoon came and Ren Yigu didn’t come to look for Xue Yaozu after class.

Xue Yaozu silently walked home with his backpack on his shoulders.  ZqIp2t

Not long after he’d gotten home, he received a call. “Hello, excuse me, but is Wang Bei at home?”

Xue Yaozu replied, “Me.”

Ren Yigu replied on the other side of the phone, “Sorry, I had some things to take care of and almost forgot. Are you still coming to my house to play?”

Xue Yaozu said, “I’ll. Go.” aTudir

Ren Yigu’s voice sounded very happy. “Great! Then let’s set up a place to meet for tomorrow morning. How about you just come here directly on the bus, I’ll wait for you at the bus stop.”

That night, Xue Yaozu informed his mom, “I-I’m. Going to. S-stay. At a. Friend’s house. For two. Days.” sef6CO

His mom didn’t understand at first. “Huh?”

Xue Yaozu repeated himself.

His mom was very worried. “You’re really being bullied, aren’t you? Someone’s forcing you to steal money, aren’t they? I’ve seen the news say that there’re some people who specifically trick introverted kids to go and steal things, and say that they’re friends, but it’s actually just a ruse so that you’ll help them do bad things.”  vHcPTV

Xue Yaozu replied, “That’s. Not it.”

His mom was still very worried and insisted on calling his teacher to sort things out.

After finishing the phone call, his mom’s attitude did a complete one-eighty, and she said, “Stay for an extra few days!”

Xue Yaozu: “……..” YV89fS

And so Xue Yaozu went to Ren Yigu’s house.

As it happens, it was then that Ren Yigu’s big brother suddenly came home.  8u1rYB

He was pretty tall, and looked like a high school or university student. He was good-looking, but in a different way than Ren Yigu was. Ren Yigu was still a teen, but his big brother already looked a bit like a man.

He seemed very high and mighty, very cold too. Without even acknowledging Ren Yigu, he went to his room.

Ren Yigu cheerily smiled and explained to Xue Yaozu. “That’s my big brother, he’s shy just like you.”

Xue Yaozu:“……” fAyWD5

They sat in the living room and played some games for a while.

Ren Yigu when he was playing games was very different from how he was usually. He was usually very cheerful and vibrant, but when he was playing games he was extremely serious. It was as if he was digging up a bomb or something.  mvPq b

The main point was, even like this he was still terrible at it. If Xue Yaozu wasn’t there, he wouldn’t have even been able to clear the first level.

What’s more, Ren Yigu had some sort of strange pride in that. “I’ve been playing the first level for a year now.”

Xue Yaozu: “……………………”

   gPmScR

After that, they played a board game. Ren Yigu ran over to knock on his big brother’s door. “Bro, do you want to join us?”

Only after a long pause did his big brother open the door. He coldly glanced at Ren Yigu.

And then Ren Yigu muttered to himself, “Oh, you still have stuff to do, huh. Sorry, you can continue.”

His big brother slammed the door shut with a bang.  G5cn6k

Ren Yigu explained to Xue Yaozu, “My brother’s probably studying and reviewing coursework.”

Xue Yaozu: “………”

  pz2Fo3

When it was almost dinner time, Ren Yigu asked Xue Yaozu, “Do you know how to cook?”

Xue Yaozu shook his head.

Ren Yigu said, in consternation, “Then it’ll be me cooking again. Whatever, if I have to cook then I’ll just cook. You help me wash the vegetables then.”

Xue Yaozu nodded.  HvNcrs

Just then, the sound of knocking came from the door. It was a takeout delivery order.

Ren Yigu’s eyes brightened. He took the takeout and brought it in. “My brother ordered it!”

And then his older brother came out of his room, took the takeout, then went back to his room, slamming the door shut once more.  0c9OG3

Ren Yigu very earnestly told Xue Yaozu, “A lot of takeout isn’t sanitary.”

Xue Yaozu: “……..”

   4Or02T

And just like that, they whiled the day away by eating, drinking and playing, then at night they did some homework together, and then it was time to sleep.

But Ren Yigu was rowdy even when it was almost sleep time. He washed his hair but didn’t dry it right away. Instead, he styled it into all types of hairstyles and asked Xue Yaozu which one looked the best.

Xue Yaozu thought they were all pretty nice-looking.

  RtfgIA

Ren Yigu wasn’t appeased with that and flipped out a lot of fashion magazines from the bookshelf, then showed them to Xue Yaozu.

Xue Yaozu: “……..”

Story translated by Chrysanthemum Garden.

Ren Yigu pointed to a model and said, “I think he’s really handsome.”

Xue Yaozu: “……..”

Ren Yigu said, “But I’m not tall, if you wore his outfit it’d probably look really nice. Then get your hair trimmed a bit, and every time you wash it you blow it into a style. And next time you change your glasses don’t pick this type of black frame, it’s not in style anymore.” JWUaux

Xue Yaozu didn’t have any other friends, and didn’t know if talking about these types of topics was normal between guys or not, but in his knowledge, this should be a topic that girls would discuss amongst themselves.

After Ren Yigu rated each model, he finally blow-dried his hair and went to sleep.

At home, Xue Yaozu slept on the old sofa. Ren Yigu slept on a very big bed all by himself, it looked very comfortable. Xue Yaozu accompanied Ren Yigu and listened to an audiobook, and fell asleep very quickly.  r6JT3M

As he was drifting off, he sleepily heard Ren Yigu softly mutter, “You can even fall asleep so quick while listening to a ghost story?”

Xue Yaozu was sleeping, then suddenly jolted awake. He seemed to hear sounds of arguing outside.  QXb6 1

He reached across the bed and felt around. There was no one there.

Immediately, he became cautious and alert; he was afraid that thieves had broken in to rob the house. He hurriedly and quietly walked to the door, barefoot.

He slowly opened the door to the room by a crack, and saw that Ren Yigu was standing by the railing, silently looking at something downstairs.

The railing was transparent, so Xue Yaozu could see what was happening too.  kHARIa

In the living room downstairs, a man and woman were arguing, and fighting

Chrysanthemum Garden.

  uBZ4UP

The room across from Ren Yigu’s was his big brother’s. His big brother opened his door, took a look, then shut the door again.

Ren Yigu was still there, watching. He watched for a long, long time.

This was the first time Xue Yaozu saw an unsmiling Ren Yigu. BAQYh0

No, that’s wrong. When Ren Yigu played video games he didn’t smile either.

It was the first time Xue Yaozu saw Ren Yigu upset.

When Ren Yigu was upset it would make you feel upset watching him.

It was almost as if Ren Yigu had done something wrong himself. He was very hurt and also very upset. Slowly, he braced himself on the wall and slid down so that he was sitting on the floor. He hugged his knees to his chest, buried his head in his arms and sat like that for a long, long time.  qPJIAn

Xue Yaozu rushed to get back to bed before Ren Yigu. He tucked himself in and pretended that he’d never woken up.

When Ren Yigu came back to his room he washed his face and quickly went back to sleep as well.

   KdDRa6

Yet Xue Yaozu couldn’t fall asleep.

He waited for a long time, and suddenly he heard Ren Yigu mumble something. He opened his eyes and took a look, but found that Ren Yigu was still fast asleep.

It looked like he was having a nightmare. He didn’t know what sleep talk he was saying either, as he couldn’t hear him clearly.  VeruEd

Then, after a while, Ren Yigu started crying. And he would occasionally tremble.

After thinking about it for a while, Xue Yaozu cautiously patted him and tried to wake him up. But suddenly, he remembered that older people said that you shouldn’t wake someone who was sleepwalking, otherwise something bad would happen. Then, could you wake someone who was talking in their sleep?

Xue Yaozu was a little hesitant.  rJxNLu

But as he was hesitating, Ren Yigu grasped his hand.

Xue Yaozu was dumbstruck.

Ren Yigu hugged his hand for a while, then, as if it wasn’t very comfortable, he started squirming and moving around until he squirmed and rolled into Xue Yaozu’s arms.  ui1FXn

Xue Yaozu was completely frozen. It took an eternity before he recovered and relaxed.

It seemed like Ren Yigu had calmed down, he wasn’t crying anymore, nor was he shaking. His head was tucked in tight against his chest and he was sound asleep.

Xue Yaozu didn’t know what exactly he was thinking, but he felt extremely terrified.  j5 AFq

It was as if he was holding an incredibly delicate and incredibly pretty glass cup. He was very afraid of breaking the cup, as though any little touch, any at all, would shatter it.

Romance of the sewing machine

Annoying Zhao Gongzi (another work from Your唯, the author of FRYG)

3Y 49U

Translator's Note

Seems redundant, but that’s what it was in the original, which was 认识认识熟悉熟悉, a combo of two phrases that mean to get to know each other. I normally wouldn’t have decided to use it two times, but I think this might have been the author’s way of highlighting the chatterbox’s chatterboxness

Translator's Note

嗯=èng (pinyin). I like using En instead of Mn, but it is that famous mn, the one that Lan Wangji always uses (ML of MoDao Zushi/Grandmaster of demonic cultivation)

Translator's Note

Like this or this , but the hands are more like this

Translator's Note

马子=a kind of derogatory way to refer to a woman that may be your lover, etc

Translator's Note

看人腐=this 腐 is the same as the first character for fujoshi, fudanshi and fujin. So when you look at people through ‘腐’ lenses, you see them as gay. Of course, this is an insult, and does not accurately describe (all) fujin. The commonly used full insult is 腐眼看人基,so 腐 eyes see people gay

Translator's Note

XYZ in these extras, so in the past, had a much more pronounced stutter and pause. So that’s why in his coming lines he has more stutters in the form of repeated y’s, pauses and repeated words/parts of sentences. XYZ probably went through some speech therapy, either professional or not Slb3Yr

oh but, in the scene below, XYZ might have been stammering more because he was a bit nervous because of the fight and standing up to the guys that would be likely to taunt and make fun of him. However, in the admittedly little amount of XYZ’s lines, he still noticeably stutters and stammers much more than in the present-time chapters (1-12)

Translator's Note

Not actual trash, though that is the word used, it’s just used to show how XYZ feels about his home, which is admittedly in bad condition, old, cheap, etc

Translator's Note

外面那层铁门=in some apartments in china, especially the old ones, they have a metal door outside of the wood one, but the metal door is very thin and it’s more like a case. Some even are metal bars instead of a whole solid door. I can’t find the ones that I used to see in my grandparent’s city, but this is basc what it is:

Translator's Note

And into XYZ’s heart ❤️

Translator's Note

白炽灯

Translator's Note

叔叔=uncle, what is used to call the dads of others (esp classmates or friends), not actually reserved to only blood relatives

Translator's Note

host for a school assembly or something similar I think

Translator's Note

Y’know those school broadcasts that are done to tell you about school news and if there are any special events, etc coming up? It’s that. Nowadays we have more than before, or at least we do at my old school

Translator's Note

帅=handsome, hot nfwPvu

In Chinese, it’s much normaler to say another guy is 帅 if you’re a guy. Well, it depends on your mindset I suppose. Guys can say guys are hot, but I just decided to go with handsome, to get that more general feel

Translator's Note

Though in English these two can be synonyms, in this case, the first is verbal arguing and the second is physically fighting with each other, as in slaps, punches, shaking by the shoulders etc

  1. I am sad this ended and also happy. Thank you for your translation, I really like the story.

Judging just from title, I will say [Romance of the sewing machine] win me over lol

  2. wahhhh it’s over. Considering everything RYG went through, he was still a very good, bright kid. I am glad Yaoyao got to meet that version of him and was able to accept the newer him as well.

I also was thinking *Romance of the Sewing Machine

    thanks for this story! <3

  3. Thanks for the novel it was so good QAQ I agree with other comments, Romance of the Sewing Machine sounds interesting!!

  4. My bby Ren Yigu🥺🥺😭 yhahdhajdh too bad we can’t see how it’ll be in the future when the two of them are together and Ren Yigu is a lot better😭😭

Thank you very much for translating this book!!!💜💜💜💜💜

  5. aw i want more QAQ ah? am i a masochist???? i love it ah!! even though i feel like i cried more than laugh? QAQ oh man. still, thank u for the hardwork in translating this~

  6. Thank you for the translation!! Although it is a short novel, I wish we had more of their relationship after they really got together and ren yigu is getting better. I’m also glad we got the extras from someone else’s point of view because MC’s mental state made it hard to tell if some things were true/really happened or not.

Because I really enjoyed this story (more than I thought I would! It was very funny and then out of nowhere you get hit with the feels) I would vote for Annoying Zhao Gongzi just because it’s by the same author!

  7. Thanks for your hard work!

This chapter was pitiful… sweet and pitiful. I want more!!! I feel a bit unresigned that we didn’t get a clear HE. 😝

As far as another project… maybe 1 or 3.

  8. It’s done 🎉. Wishing for more chap where Ren Yigu realize that XY is really really real. Thank u so much for trnslating the story ❤️❤️❤️❤️

base on the title i think Romance of the Sewing Machine is interesting

  9. This series was really hard to read with all the sweat blocking my eyes (it ain’t tears I swear!!!! It’s just sweat definitely not tears!!!!) I somehow wish to see the point of view of RYG’s oldr brother. I feel that he actually care about RYG but at the same time it feels like he can’t help but resent RYG because of RYG’s mom. I want to know if he actually thinks that RYG’s condition and actions are because he wants to take revenge at him or he actually know that RYG has a psychological problem but just refuses to acknowledge it and is still in denial about his brother’s condition that is why he says RYG wants to take revenge on him. Thank you for translating this wonderful series that has made me laugh at one moment and then make my eyes sweat at the next, it was a fun and enjoyable read. (Calling this fun and enjoyable makes me feel like I am an M……..)
  10. Thank you for translating this. I definitely enjoyed this, and I wish we could see more of them having a happy life together.

  11. This is great but I wish there’s more. I wish a clearer development on MC’s mental state. I know mental illness couldn’t be cure but still, I wish.

  12. Sweet ride, tinted with some deep stuff. I really enjoyed it! Thanks for picking this up! ❤️

  13. Readings this lodged a thought in my mind. That Ren had mental issues as a child even before moving to his father’s house, everything thing that happened after caused it to get worse especially the kidnapping . Having family members around you and friends who ignore and don’t care about the obvious signs that something is wrong with you, made it even worse !! It is sad because that kind of problem. It seems was mostly caused by family neglect, rejection and abuse. I cried while reading the entire story. I hardly remember smiling because it hurt so much. Still it was a good read😇

  14. This gave us more insight on Yigu’s issue. He had been thirsty of love and warmth from the beginning. I think it made it realistic that the harder it is he felt, the harder he try to mask it up with cheerfulness. I felt sad thinking how cold the family is. What more with a rebellious high schooler as a brother. As Yaozu said, he is a pretty glass cup. Hopefully the two can slowly heal and complete each other.

Thank you for the translations! It is a great ride 😊.

  15. ML is so Good… He’s just soooo gooood!!!

I pray so hard MC would get better and better…

This novel does feel realistic though in lots of aspect….

Thank you so much for the translation!!! 🙇🙇🙇

  16. So glad for them to found each other and support each other. Hope everyone be strong. Thank you for translating this wonderful story. And yes i love Annoying Zhao Gong ZI too. Author really good at writing these type of genre( humour with underlined heartbreaking backstory)

  17. I hate his entire family, except twins. The twins are literal angels, the rest are trash. The unrecyclable kind, that you can’t even burn. God I wish I could try, though

  18. That zong yu part wasn’t explain from a reliable person perspective what was his story with xyz, what was the credible part of the story he told to ryg about their past was he an ex or not how did their entanglement happen since there doesn’t seem that there was friends of the big brother when xyz was at ryg house so did he made up everything then how did xyz get involved with his !??

  19. Thank you! I hope RY becomes able enough to get the twins back. That would be a beautiful progress

  20. this was such a good story 😭😭

i just wish we could have had a little time skip, showing the twins coming back & ren yigu’s relationship with his brother & grandfather

plus how his relationship with xue yaozu developed & his recovery, oh & also how xue yaozu acted when mc ran away & his friend went to his house to collect his clothes

what a pity ☹️☹️ this story made me think about the meaning of life & now I’m contemplating everything I’ve done, this author is really good
