Shi Luo looked at his chat with Yu Sui. He looked at this sentence “Is your luggage packed?” and his heart felt a bit sour.

Shi Luo held his phone tightly. He bit down on his lip as he squinted at his phone.
Yu Sui responded quickly, and Shi Luo’s phone vibrated two seconds later.
[Whisper]: [No need.]
Shi Luo gritted his teeth and typed.
[Evil]: [Nothing is absolute. What if you fail to be promoted?]
When Shi Luo sent the message, he felt that he might have overstepped. He hesitated, and when he was thinking about saying something more, his phone buzzed once again.

If you let others win out of pity then you are not giving them the respect they deserve. Its a game. A battle of talents. If you have it, you have it; if you don’t, then you don’t. None of the politics.
Yu sui isn’t heartless. It’s not like they drove them to the cliff. If they had the skills then they wouldn’t be there in the first place. Even if they let them off this once they’d just lose the next one. This is a professional tournament the other team that had one win more than them worked for that. There are plenty of other secondary teams that are striving for a spot. It would be disrespectful to the other teams and to the sport and their profession to give away a win to a team that didn’t deserve it.
Yu Sui’s mindset is right. You should give your all when you can, you’re not doing the others any favour letting them win If they don’t deserve it.
