Really not liking this direction towards the more and more typically forceful yandere ML =w=;… The whole reason I originally enjoyed this story so much was because for once the MC was the more proactive one and the ML was always very doting and gentle. I hope all future arcs won’t be like this and the blackened wuxia one.

      • If i remember correctly, each world has a certain ‘personality’ trait that dominates the ML. Maybe extreme possessiveness or being a masochist is the one being projected right now? Hahaha. I’m curious how this would develop though as Shi Qing’s plans slightly went askewed

        • I think you’re right. As we can see, we never saw an yandere or batshit crazy ML in any of the other worlds. Even in the Shizun-Discple arc ML’s actions were understandable and we see him later repenting over it. This world’s defect is over-possisiveness/Yandere

  11. sigh even though we know Shi Qing wants it, I still feel uncomfortable because the ML thinks he hates it but still does it anyway😓

    • But to be fair, he did allow SQ to scream. Meaning if SQ really hated it he would stop (or rather be stopped).

      So although it may be noncon at the beginning after he said that and SQ didn’t scream it could at least be considered as dubcon or even consensual depending on how you see it.

      • Eh… But you could also see it as young master Shi is very prideful, so he don’t want other people to see how he looks right now. Moreover, if SQ really screamed, he knows JBY will be killed by the Shi family. If SQ have a little bit of affection for JBY, he wouldn’t want to do that. Just because he doesn’t want to scream and possibly kill JBY, that doesn’t mean it can possibly be consensual, that’s just threat. (Btw, I’m talking about the perspective of SQ personality in this world, not what the actual SQ thinks)

        • Agreed. ML is just blatantly treatening MC to not scream. Or rather, he’s treatening him in order to find out if his “master” has feelings for him or not.

          if he screams and doesn’t care about others seeing what ML is doing to him, while knowing ML will be killed, it means he truly just thinks of him as a pet that can be thrown away
          if he remains silent, it means his master doesn’t want for him to die, or at least views his own reputation high enough to prevent others from seeing him being violated.

          Because in the end it’s exactly that (I’m ignoring the fact that MC really wants to be eaten), ML is about to r*pe is master. He knows it’s wrong, that’s why he’s giving him two choices.

          And because he knows that it’s wrong regardless what option his master chooses, it’s still nothing other than r*pe and he feels guilty about it, he’s giving him a whip to be punished by his master.

          Honestly, this arc is just as horrible as Arc 8 (demonic disciple), which means: see you next arc! Have fun everyone!

  20. Don’t worry Qing-er. I am also very speechless and might I said feeling a little bit dissapointed with Jiang Bieyu this time. His mind is a little bit unique too. Never expected the once sexual tension that lingers turns into a dramatic scene. I applaud the author for really think out of the box.
