Man, I’d been assuming Wang Xing had to be the one driving the car, since Liang Jing started holding her captive and abusing her after the second person he killed but we didn’t hear of him doing it in the past, but maybe once it became clear he wasn’t getting caught for the hit and run he eased up on her.
I feel really sorry for both female victims now, if one’s “crime” was just being forced to get an abortion after being pushed into sex work to get money for her dying mom and the other kept quiet about a hit an run caused by a guy that we know will abuse her to keep her silent.
Gotta Say, I kinda preferred the first arc way more. Like final destination it’s more about the kills here than anything in my opinion? Also, it sort of feels bad to know our ML somehow constructed this convoluted web of death. I mean, yeah it’s morbidly romantic but why was it so dogblood? Does that mean you indirectly manipulated them to r*pe/kill/get the sin of abortion etc? I just… I dunno the more you think about it the less I like it? But great job translating, I’m still holding on to my hopes for this story hehe
