When Dong Ge started speculating about Chi Xiaochi it sort of felt…fitting? Or how to say like good. Good that someone remembered him, him as him, beyond him just being their saviour. When Dong Ge tied He Changseng’s hair into a crown braid, for some reason that made me feel forlorn. Somehow these worlds are complete when Xiaochi is there but at the same time, even if he isn’t, they’re still complete. Finding out about his increased entropy level broke my heart. The Lord God that pig knows what’s up. The next world will definitely hurt out xiaochi more but in the long run they might both be happier? Because now Lou Ying only needs to finish up with one host after xiaochi is done and then they can be together again. I would be satisfied with just that but the author seems to promise to amaze with her foreshadowing. I can’t wait to see how everything shapes out.

I’m guessing Pig Brain noticed 061 contributed more to that idea, which is why they’re allowing 061 more interference. Honestly, while I found Dong Ge and Dong Feiyun’s interactions very sweet, it was very bizarre to see the nephew/uncle relationship mixed with CXC and 061’s romantic tension. It’s mostly weird from CXC’s end, since he appears to genuinely believed Dong Feiyun was real, as opposed to 061, who clearly distinguished the body and the soul.

His death was so tragic to me; The scene with his mother at the beginning of the arc made me so emotional; The way his performance would subtly become more passionate and enthusiastic when He Changsheng was present was so adorable; His sweet little giggles and blushes in the back of 061’s mind would make me silly giggly too; When he went searching for his mysterious “uncle” afterwards, only fiding a empty staircase, left with only a mangá and the memories he cultivated with him and the man who saved his life, my eyes where full of tears and my chest swollen and bubbly with pure joy.
He Changsheng was also a delight to read, such a polite and emotionaly inteligent boy! He also gave me a neurodivergent vibe, but made it’s just my projecting-
Him not being able to sleep without his plushie made me so giggly and in love with this silly little guy being just like me for real; The process of him slowly falling in love with Dong Ge was the most sweet thing of all times.
I hope this two live their best lives!!
As for Fake Lou, after all things he done in DG’s former life AND all evil he caused in the current, all the suffering he brought upon the people close to him, taking away the only thing he was good at and feed his ego, with a plus of giving him a taste of the pain Dong Ge suffered in the past, is a more than fitting punishiment.
