He hadn’t noticed The Demon King appear behind him. The air surrounding his body was dangerous, and his eyes appeared to flash red for a moment.
Bai Yang startled and stepped back, into the water.
“Your Highness?” He asked, “when did you come over?”
The Demon King of Eternal Night was as still as a rock, Bai Yang hadn’t seen the Demon King come up behind him.
What made him apprehensive was the air around The Demon King. It was frantic, wisps of black spilled out of his body and curled around him, becoming thicker and thicker.
“Just now.” The Demon King’s voice was hoarse. He stared at Bai Yang, the red in his eyes becoming more noticeable.
The years of close combat instinct made Bai Yang uneasy, he started towards the nearby shore and said: “I’ve already finished washing up, let’s go.”
As he spoke, he pulled the wet clothes on to cover his body.
Before he could reach the shore, The Demon King’s figure appeared in front of him, blocking his path.
“Your Highness?” Bai Yang was forced back into the water.

The Demon King of Eternal Night stood in the middle of the lake, exposing his strong upper body. Behind his wet hair was a pair of blood-red eyes.

He was a bit scared, and his body wasn’t at its best condition, so he had no way of bringing out his usual power. If he couldn’t subdue The Demon King, the consequences would be grave.
“Your Highness, wake up!” Bai Yang called.
The Demon King of Eternal Night’s eyes were like blood-stained glass. Hearing Bai Yang’s words, he lowered his head, “you said you would help me.”
Bai Yang was shocked, The Demon King hadn’t lost his mind? He can still talk?
The Demon King’s voice was hoarse: “I’m about to lose control, help me.”

Bai Yang’s face was flushed red, with gritted teeth he nodded.
In the vast forest, a dark lake with black water.

I really am starting to despise the Demon King. He is not worthy of even being liked! He causes massive pain multiple times to his partner, never even really tries to improve because all he seems to care about is whether he feels good and damn if his partner is bleeding and says stop, and really doesn’t care if his partner is in pain as long as he’ll still have someone to stick it to next time. What an absolute piece of garbage. I really loved this story. Why did it turn into an abuse novel? I’m so upset over it.

Distasteful. I loved this novel till the “channeling” thing and I wish it wasn’t there. dk delusions from the beginning irritated me but when I saw them again in this chapter i started crying, it looks exactly like the brain thought my abuser would have to think he was still my precious family
I think I can’t blame DK on this one… First of all, he is a virgin. He wouldn’t know how it works obviously. Second, He is a big ass brainhole.
