Synopsis

As a graduate of an unpopular field of study, Qi Chen felt that it wasn’t going to be easy trying to find a job that would recruit him.

But when he clicked on the recruitment post, he felt that there was something quite wrong about it…

Job Position: Cultural Relics Restorer
Job Requirements:
1. Those who are well-versed in different metal antique restoration techniques are preferred.
2. Those who have a strong mental fortitude and can adapt well to sudden, surprising changes are preferred.
3. Those who have the ability to defend themselves and are fine with having to live their lives on the edge are preferred (very important).

Qi Chen: ……

What the hell was that last requirement!

[Explosive mouth demonic knife gong] x [Cultural relic restorer shou]

Definitely waiting for this. I’ve MTLed them before, so I’m excited to read it again.

  3. I’m sorry, but I have to share this bit of extreme stupidity…

I had misinterpreted the meaning of “explosive mouth demonic knife” very badly. So badly that after reading the first 7 chapters, I was still wondering when the gong was going to show up and why this random character was getting so much screen time (I obviously understand now…).

I had thought that “demonic knife” meant some demon that liked — I dunno — stabbing people or was an assassin for the company; I didn’t realize the meaning was literal. No one can blame me for this either (okay, maybe you can because it was simply stupid and foolish), we all know what kind of things go down in the yaoi genre.
