But Shu Hanyu stayed where he was. No matter how much Shu Jintian pulled, his body was like a stake, not budging at all. He merely stared fixedly at Shu Jintian with gloomy eyes that faintly revealed sadness.
When Shu Jintian saw his cold appearance, he suddenly realised that Shu Hanyu probably wouldn’t go look for the little snakes.
“You don’t want to go? Fine! You don’t go, I will! Where did you throw them? I’ll look for them myself!” Shu Jintian was so panicked he lost himself, and was unable to care about blaming Shu Hanyu. Now, he just wanted to retrieve the snakelets first; everything else meant nothing.
But Shu Jintian was still thoroughly disappointed in Shu Hanyu and suddenly pushed him away. Lowering his voice, he enunciated, “If we don’t find the little snakes, I won’t forgive you for my entire life!”
Shu Jintian no longer bothered with Shu Hanyu and turned around, wanting to leave.
“Not allowed to leave!” Shu Hanyu, who had been silent all along, suddenly spoke the instant Shu Jintian turned around. His voice was like cold ice, chilling to the bone.
Shu Hanyu seized Shu Jintian’s arm and tightly gripped his wrist. His green, beastly eyes stared gloomily at Shu Jintian’s back. Even if Shu Jintian couldn’t see, he still couldn’t resist his heart from turning cold.
Shu Jintian was firmly held at the wrist, handcuffed by Shu Hanyu’s hand; his strength was practically about to crush his bones.
Shu Jintian’s anger was intense and he merely frowned at Shu Hanyu’s crudeness. He ignored Shu Hanyu and forcefully tried to shake his hand away, but failed to do so.

But when he heard Shu Jintian’s last sentence, the seemingly calm Shu Hanyu finally exploded. He fiercely pushed Shu Jintian down and pressed him down below him, stopping Shu Jintian’s departure.
