The A in the Opposite Dorm Always Thinks I'm Pretending to be a BChapter 34

“Ah, no, that’s not it. I saw you two standing here at the gymnasium and thought that you were……” Having mistaken them for new students, the other person felt quite embarrassed and revealed a shy expression. “My name is Yuan Xu. I’m a student here. Since you guys are here on vacation, do you want to take a look around our school? Of course, if you have other urgent matters to attend to, I can……”

“Hey, isn’t this Yuan Xu? What are you doing here?” He Yan came from behind and looped an arm around Yuan Xu’s neck. “Yo, what have you guys been talking about?” j9b2N

“Senior, keep a safe distance please.” Yuan Xu removed He Yan’s arm from his shoulder. “Senior, do you guys know each other?”

“What senior? So formal. Didn’t you used to call me Jie Jie like He Xiao Xin?” He Yan slapped him in the back of the head. “These two are He Xin’s friends. They came here to play. This kid is Yuan Xu; he lives next door to uncle’s place.”

“Hey, since you two are already here, do you want to take a look at the scenic hotspot in our school? Last time when a tour group had specially brought some people over, I led them over. I know the place with the best angle to take pictures.”

“Okay, sure.” Ning Meng immediately accept He Yan’s proposal. Ning An didn’t object and simply followed them. 6Ta3nQ

“Yuan Xu, do you want to come and eat with us at my uncle’s house for lunch? You and He Xin haven’t seen each other in a long time, right?” He Yan turned to Yuan Xu and said. “I’ll tell uncle that we’re having a barbecue tonight.”

“That’s settled, you must show up.” He Yan didn’t wait for Yuan Xu to respond and simply walked ahead with Ning Meng.

Yuan Xu helplessly smiled and whispered to Ning An: “Senior just has this kind of character.”

Ning An smiled and followed after Ning Meng.

With He Yan’s decision, they set up a self-service barbecue rack in the yard at night. Having never experienced this kind of setting before, Ning Meng stopped taking pictures and directly transmitted Fu Yue a live broadcast. Seeing this, Fu Yue could only salivate while reminding herself that she was on a diet.

“We’re having a barbecue!” He Xin rotated the camera lens to show the meat roasting on the rack. “This is my family’s yard. Next time, if you aren’t busy, you’re also welcome to come and play.” xFm98s

“Okay.” Derek replied with a smile, but then his eyes keenly noticed the two people walking behind He Xin while chatting and laughing. “Ning An is also there with you? Who’s that beside him?”

“Ah? You saw him?” He Xin turned around and took a glance before continuing to flip the meat skewers. “Ning An and his little sister came over to play. That is my neighbour. My cousin invited him over. Is something wrong?”

“It’s nothing. Then I won’t disturb you. I also need to go training.” Derek had initially wanted to use the break time after dinner to see how He Xin was doing. Unexpectedly seeing Ning An with him, he wondered whether he should tell this to Fu Ke.

“You still need to train at night? Then I also shouldn’t slack off too much. I won’t continue to disturb you.” j3qNlt

Derek told He Xin to relax and that he didn’t need to force himself too much. After urging him to eat lots of meat, he hung up the video call. As for Fu Ke? He should just slowly wait for him to understand things himself.

“Ning Meng Meng, don’t you know that you’re repeatedly jumping over our plastic sisters line by doing this?” With great difficulty, Fu Yue resisted the urge to go to the fridge and take out some snacks. As for Ning Meng, she was enjoying a roast chicken skewer on the display screen in front of Fu Yue, her face filled with bliss.

“You’re clearly just jealous.” Ning Meng wasn’t bothered at all by Fu Yue’s threat. Placing the barbecue skewer to the side, she pointed at her own lips. “This is the latest colour, a chilli pepper hue matched with cumin powder. If you have it, you’ll be the most beautiful child of the galaxy.”

“Alright devil, you have succeeded in enticing me. I just ordered take out for a midnight snack. You can stop behaving like this.” 9sibXq

The girls happily chatted and didn’t notice that Fu Ke was standing behind Fu Yue. He was currently looking behind Ning Meng at Ning An and Yuan Xu. After Ning An came over to urge Ning Meng to eat, saying that the food wouldn’t be good when it becomes cold, Ning Meng finally ended the call.

Thinking of her own take out, Fu Yue turned around and saw Fu Ke standing there. His gloomy expression caused her to jump in fright.

“Ge? Do you need something?”

“No.” Fu Ke replied and left. He initially wanted to seek Fu Yue’s advice on how he should resolve the conflict between himself and Ning An. However, he just happened to see Ning An sitting and eating with other people. In fact, this was a very ordinary matter, but Fu Ke’s heart suddenly felt out of sorts. He brought his bad mood all the way to the downstairs training room, subconsciously wanting to achieve better training numbers than usual. AtNSu3

“Hello, can I sit here?” Yuan Xu was holding a slightly scorched corn skewer in his hand. “You’re called Ning An, right?”

“Of course.” Ning An shifted to the side and then pointed out: “Your corn is a little burnt.”

“It doesn’t matter.” Yuan Xu didn’t mind it and took a bite. “Senior roasted it. It’s actually very tasty.”

“Because it’s roasted by the person you like?” Ning An suddenly inched closer and whispered this, causing Yuan Xu to almost drop the skewer in his hand. O8Hd0t

“Lower your voice! Don’t let senior hear this!” Yuan Xu was instantly flustered. Looking left and right, he found that no one was paying attention to them. “Is it very obvious? But senior hasn’t noticed it.”

“Gotcha.” Ning An had only taken a guess and casually asked. He then realised that although Yuan Xu looked tall and strong, he was actually quite foolish. Were the people here all honest and simple?

“Then you mustn’t tell anyone.” Yuan Xu looked as guilty as a thief as he glanced at He Yan who was instructing He Xin to brush oil onto the eggplants.

“I won’t say anything. You yourself need to work hard.” ozeX68

“En!”

After finishing his corn, Yuan Xu walked over to He Yan and asked if she needed any help. Ning An didn’t know why he suddenly recalled the moment when Fu Ke had hugged him in the shopping mall. He opened up the message screen on his terminal. Fu Ke’s name was fifth on the list. Their last chat content was still their goodnight messages on the night before they arranged to eat together at the shopping mall.

Ning An stared at that goodnight message for a while and chose to delete the entire chat record. In the end, he still didn’t end up pressing the delete friend button. It was just that Fu Ke’s name was no longer on his message screen.

After staying for a few days, Ning An and Ning Meng returned to the Capital Star. Mother He had enthusiastically stuffed a lot of local specialities into their luggage. LOwaHh

Elina and Ning Xin Bo still hadn’t returned home, so Ning An and Ning Meng once again spent their vacation like the old days.

Especially Ning An; apart from coming out to eat, he basically spent his entire time in his room. During one of their meals, Ning Meng tried to bring up that one time not too long ago when Ning An had invited his classmate out to eat, but Ning An simply dodged the topic. Ning Meng could also tell that Ning An was very upset about what had happened that day.

Wouldn’t it be bad if this goes on? Ning Meng secretly contacted He Xin. She remembered that when Ning An had come back with He Xin on that day, he didn’t look so good. Perhaps He Xin Ge could tell her what happened?

However, the reality was that even He Xin didn’t understand what exactly had happened that day. He had asked Derek, but Derek would always go around it without making anything clear. He only said that Ning An and Fu Ke had a conflict. As for what the conflict was about, he didn’t say. YPHsxc

On the other side, Fu Yue also couldn’t figure out the situation. She still recalled that on that morning, Fu Ke was in a really good mood when he went out, but after coming back, he stayed in this gloomy depressed state for many days. Especially after the time she chatted with Ning Meng; the next day, Fu Ke was clearly in a very bad mood. Also feeling quite depressed, she chose to find her best friend Ning Meng to complain about this.

  1. fu ke please reflect well (T___T)9 jiayou… ahh i really love seeing the little sisters having fun and having friendly banter that doesnt revolve around the mc!! it really adds so much depth to their characters and rounds out the book overall… my heart is at peace…

thank you for the chapter! ♡

    • honestly, it’s cool to read a bl that passes the Bechdel test.

The test asks whether a work features at least two female characters who have a conversation about something other than a man.

      • oh yes, and fun fact, the creator actually prefers it to be called the Bechtel-Wallace test, because she borrowed the idea from a friend. it wasn’t even really meant to be serious, it was just a joke in a lesbian comic strip that Alison Bechdel made (just to make everything gayer!). it’s actually a little sad that it’s so divorced from lesbianism nowadays because the original context was really just “haha I’m a lesbian and I want movies where women aren’t talking about men”.

  2. I hope they’ll make up sooner.. their sisters might do the trick .. i hope TvT)/

Thank you so much for the chapter!!!~ 🙇🙇🙇🙇

  3. Fu Ke needs to really think about what he did and all the assumptions he made. While his concern is real and he acted out of real feelings, he was still wrong. I hope he can understand that. He has to work hard to get Ning An to forgive him.

  4. I really like that this has an expanded cast of characters. There’s lots of novels where really our mains are the only ones with meaningful dialogue and they’re fine but I feel like this is an example of better storytelling.

  5. The detective sisters at work 😂. I hope Fu Ke and Ning An will make amends faster with their helps.
