She was like a thief who just broke into an unoccupied house. She lightened her steps and bent slightly as she inched towards the sacred ground step by step.
Before she could push the door open, someone else pulled it open first.
A man that wasn’t her husband walked out of the room.
Deputy Director Jiang* wore a wrinkled undershirt as his bare chest was exposed along with his unbuttoned trousers. His short hair was a bit messy while his lips had an unnatural red stain on them. The woman could smell something odd, it was a musk fragrance that belonged to men.
She quickly understood what had happened in that room.
Deputy Director Jiang* closed the door tightly. He was like a wolf protecting its food, blocking in front of the door as he gave off a thick hostile aura. That was right, finally, he wasn’t covering it up anymore. He didn’t want to continue pretending anymore.
He took out a cigarette from his pocket and lit it before taking a long puff of it.
He sat in the living room’s chair so naturally that it seemed like he was the rightful owner of this house instead. He looked at the woman with the protruded stomach as if he was a king who’d just won a war.
He blew out a mouthful of smoke and said, “Let’s have a talk.”

Aish I’m ranting…the frustration after I read every chapter and yet I can’t stop because I want to KNOW. I really dislike people like WX the most, their stupidity and implicating the people around them because as a person you can’t exactly not care when you see it happening and it involves someone you know and care about🙆

Wahh, I totally agree…I’m conflicted because I like their relationship but it’s causing problems for other people and Little Jiang didn’t even care about the fact that he slept with a married person. Honestly he shouldn’t have done that no matter how right he thinks he is….

Honestly, I haven’t liked Jing Jing since she proposed marriage to Shi Tou after getting pregnant. We all knew he wasn’t going to say no, especially because she’s a “close friend” of his. However I do agree with the TR, the way women are portrayed in BL series is distasteful and flat out ugly. They’re always envious, petty and and just devious. I’m ready to see more realistic women in series.

Thanks for the chapter! I enjoyed the first arc but this story is getting…problematic. I get that Ah Jiang is possessive and there’s nothing nice about him but it’s not healthy the way he just pushes this relationship on Shi Tou. And ST thinking that it hurts but if he says so AJ will leave??? We’re past the days where such behaviour is ok. I mean good that they like each other coz otherwise it reeks of an abusive relationship where the dominant one just manipulates the other to stay in the relationship by doing things for them and slowly cutting off everyone else. Wheee
