Deputy Director Jiang* didn’t come to this town just to see his friend, he also had official business to do. This old village had just been selected to become one of the areas for future developmental plans. After many steps, such as competitive bidding for their next project, Deputy Director Jiang* came to supervise the project as a representative of the Central Committee.

But no one knew that there was no need for Deputy Director Jiang to come here himself.

The ones in the village only knew that Deputy Director Jiang* treated the little idiot of Cun Bei very well. He even had the small restaurant that the little idiot worked at to take care of all the construction workers’ lunches. It was certainly a great business deal for them. The little idiot’s uncle and aunt rubbed their hands together, it was as if they’d seen a chest full of gold bars as they looked at the contract. The old street was about to be removed soon as well, so they were originally worried about finding a new location; the expenses were also a headache to them. That contract was just like a sudden rain in the middle of a drought.

Throughout the whole process of the negotiation to the contract signing, Shi Tou merely sat on the side. Although his name was on there as well, it was like he had no relation with the business at all. It was just Ah-Jiang trying to force care on him, and Shi Tou slowly understood that he began to owe Ah-Jiang more and more. NVvTda

After the signing and receiving the money, Shi Tou was forcefully pulled to see the guest out.

They walked one in front of the other. Ah-Jiang said, “Little Rock, can you send me my meal every day during lunchtime from now on?”

“Mn.” Shi Tou nodded his head energetically with no hesitation at all.

“What does Ah-Jiang want to eat?”

iAIUrz

Ah-Jiang let out a long “hmm” as he pondered and thought about the question seriously. “Eggplant with garlic sauce, braised hairtail in brown sauce…” Shi Tou took serious mental notes of everything the man mentioned. He was definitely going to make Ah-Jiang’s lunch personally.

“Braised trotters!”

Ah-Jiang clapped his hands together before pointing. “That needs to be included every day.”

Shi Tou shook his head in complete disagreement. “You’ll get tired of it.” KN3Io9

But Ah-Jiang merely smiled in return, displaying a row of teeth. He was so strikingly handsome that anyone would blush upon seeing him. “I won’t get tired of it.”

He said, “Even if I were to eat it for a hundred years, or even a thousand years, I won’t get tired of it.”

Shi Tou lowered his head gradually and rubbed his eyes. He didn’t know why, but Ah-Jiang’s words always managed to make his eyes feel itchy, as if something was about to fall out of them.

From then on, Shi Tou really took care of Ah-Jiang’s daily meals. Everyone else’s food was cooked altogether in a big pot, only Ah-Jiang’s share was cooked separately on another small stove. All the side dishes were carefully selected by Shi Tou, all the other cooks couldn’t help but laugh at him. “Ah-Can, not even your wife gets treated as well as Deputy Director Jiang* right?” j3BtMu

Coincidentally, Jing Jing had just returned from a check-up and came to the restaurant on her way home. She walked in the kitchen casually as she heard the teasing sentence, just in time for her to add on to it. “Of course, I don’t have enough blessing to be compared to Deputy Director Jiang*. I even have to go to checkups by myself because Ah-Can has to deliver food for Deputy Director Jiang*.”

She spoke as if it was a joke with a smile on her face, but they could all tell what she truly meant by those words. Only Shi Tou didn’t realize. He quickly wiped his hands after seeing Jing Jing, then went up to ask how the checkup went.

Jing Jing’s stomach was at a size that showed her pregnancy clearly. Recently, due to her constant morning sickness, her temper had been short. But no one else knew that during the entire period from their wedding to today, the two of them had never slept on the same bed. Shi Tou had moved to another room. He’d rather stay in a room without heat than to be in the same room as Jing Jing.

Pregnant women always liked to have ridiculous thoughts. In the beginning, she made up her mind to marry the idiot because she liked how he was an honest and sincere person. At least, he was still a bit dependable. However, some habits will only surface when living together. Shi Tou wasn’t capable of sharing her pain. They had a hard time communicating through both their body and mind. Hence, her attitude towards him became worse and worse. rojtX3

“I’m going to visit Ah-Xiang and the others later, so I’ll be back home late tonight.”

Jing Jing covered her nose in discomfort due to the strong smell of oil and smoke. Shi Tou nodded his head quickly then saw her out.

Chrysanthemum Garden.

Once they left, the kitchen staff all gathered into a bunch as they whispered to each other. “That little idiot sure is led by the nose by his wife easily, he’s going to have a hard time in the future.”

The elder lady who was washing the vegetables also inserted herself into the conversation. “I never liked that Jing Jing from the beginning. Just look at her, she’s pregnant yet she’s still wearing such high heels, isn’t it ridiculous?!” jBfL1q

“Hey hey, you all, don’t just focus on calling the girl bad. For her to marry an idiot, the rest of her life is just going to stay like that. Who knows who will have a hard future in the end!”

Once Shi Tou was done sending Jing Jing off, he went straight to the construction site to deliver lunch for Ah-Jiang and the workers.

At the construction site, Ah-Jiang wore a yellow hard hat, a shirt, and trousers as he listened to the engineer explain the blueprint.

The workers sent out the boxed meals from the vehicle’s back trunk. It wasn’t until almost everything was passed out that Shi Tou went in the vehicle to take out the lunchbox he kept in the insulation box. Sometimes, he would also stew soup for Ah-Jiang. dsqQxd

Every time Shi Tou walked over, the workers on the site would tease him. “Deputy Director Jiang*, your wife’s here to deliver your lunch!”

The little idiot was easily embarrassed. He would lower his head every time from all the teases and scratch his face with shrunken shoulders. Contrairly, Deputy Director Jiang* liked those jokes. He would even state himself. “You guys, stop teasing the deputy president’s wife, that’s a demand.”

With the break he had from the restaurant in the afternoon, Shi Tou would stay with Ah-Jiang until he was done eating. One of his favorite things to do now was to sit across from Ah-Jiang and watch as the other finished the dishes he made bite by bite.

If it was possible, he wished that it could go on for a long time. A very very long time, it’d be so long that he couldn’t even dare to think of how far it went.

Then one afternoon, Shi Tou didn’t come.

That was the first day he had not come to the construction site in two whole months. kqerds

Deputy Director Jiang* pulled the worker who was delivering the food aside to ask. The worker told him, “Ah-Can tripped in the kitchen this morning and twisted his ankle, he won’t be able to work for a while.”

Deputy Director Jiang* notified the supervisor before taking off his hard hat and rushing to Shi Tou’s house without even changing.

He knocked on the door and waited for quite a while before seeing it get pulled open.

He saw Shi Tou supporting himself with a staff. One of his pant legs was rolled up, exposing his shin. mXJPox

“Ah-Jiang?”

Ah-Jiang furrowed his brows and quickly helped him back in the house before sitting him down on a chair. He kneeled on one knee and looked at Shi Tou’s leg carefully. Although he kept blaming the other for not being careful enough, the concern his face showed couldn’t be masked at all.

“Have you gotten it checked at a hospital yet?”

Shi Tou shook his head. He explained that the Tieda from their area had twisted the bone back into its original place already, so there was no need to go to the hospital. bAuwCF

Yet Ah-Jiang disagreed, his brows were knitted together. “How is that okay?! What will happen if your bone is not relocated correctly? Where’s your wife? Why isn’t she taking care of you?!”

Shi Tou didn’t expect Ah-Jiang to get that mad, he could only shrink back as he answered, “Jing Jing went to play cards at her friend’s house…”

Ah-Jiang stared at him in bewilderment. He looked around the house; the Double Happiness post hadn’t been taken down, a thin layer of dust covered the cabinet, and there was only cold water in the teapot on the table. Little Rock had injured his foot and yet she went to gamble carefreely, just what is that woman doing?

He turned his back to the other. XYsUIj

“Get on, I’ll carry you to the hospital.”

“Ah? No, no need to go to the hospital…”

“Get on!”

Ah-Jiang’s tone was so stern that it suddenly reminded Shi Tou of just how domineering Ah-Jiang could be, he would even hit people. Just like when they were in school, one hit from Ah-Jiang was enough to break someone’s nose. No one could tell he was capable of such behavior just from looking at him. F9LYdT

They drove to the neighboring town’s hospital to get an X-ray. Fortunately there wasn’t enough equipment, or else he was definitely going to drag him to do a CT, MRI, and all that. The orthopedist checked him up and gave him some aspirin after making sure his injury had been treated properly and no ligaments had been torn.

Due to all the complications on the way, it was already the evening when they got home.

Just as Ah-Jiang finished settling Shi Tou down, Jing Jing came home. Ever since Shi Tou’s wedding, the amount of time that Ah-Jiang has visited their house can be counted by the digits on one’s hand. It was as if he was purposely avoiding Shi Tou’s wife.

Deputy Director Jiang* looked at the woman with a slightly protruded stomach, his face turned cold. “Where have you been all day long? What other wives act like you?” bVAfvm

Jing Jing didn’t expect how bluntly the deputy director’s words were going to be right from the start. It left no room for her to even put on a good attitude. She was a woman who had survived through all kinds of affairs, as her eyes wandered over from Deputy Director Jiang* onto her husband, she could already tell that something was fishy.

“Ah-Jiang, don’t scold Jing Jing.” Shi Tou decided to speak up in the awkward moment. He got up to pull onto Ah-Jiang’s hand, he looked at the woman in hesitation. “It was me who told Jing Jing to go out and play. It’s really boring for her to stay at home all day.”

Ah-Jiang clenched his fist discreetly. Never has he resented over something this much. He clearly knew how unsightly his current appearance was, but he couldn’t control himself. He was only able to act as if he was a grotesque woman who had been flooded by jealousy, picking out all the mistakes of the other woman continuously to amend for his own achings.

“You need to rest well, remember to not touch water for a few days.” At last, he left those words and shook off Shi Tou’s hand. Sciyhv

With the way he walked out so fast, it seemed like he’d been waiting to escape.

Ah-Jiang kept walking, he walked very far. In the end, he went to the river side.

He was puffing slightly as he stood there. Gradually, a figure appeared in front of him. It was a tall handsome man who wore a Shen Yi and was equipped with a great saber. He spoke drunken words by the river, causing a malicious ghost who’d been alone for hundreds of years to be summoned.

After another hundred years a King held two wooden dolls in his hand, playing with them noisily like an actor in front of an expressionless man; all that just so he could receive a heartless smile from the other. ZShNiz

Then another hundred years later, a great general gave his all to a young idiot of the clan. Not one line of his poem was not made for him.

Hundreds of years after years, life after life. With so many reincarnations, how does one return such deep emotional debt?

When the Great Master Jiang* suddenly passed away that year, the family broke up temporarily. Their reputation was constantly stained by others on purpose. In less than three months —before Great Master Jiang’s* corpse had even gone cold— Representative Jiang* died of a sudden death on the bed of a prostitute. This became a hot topic of the political community that year. Mrs. Jiang* couldn’t withstand all the burden so she sent him overseas to his grandpa’s place. He returned years later to restore the losts. He brought the Jiang* Family back into the Central Committee. But once everything was done and settled, he realized he’d lost the most important thing.

He thought with the given destiny between them, Little Rock would definitely wait for him. DsXxYr

Humans’ predictions can never be rivaled with the Heavens. He knew, neither of them had changed, they just missed the right timing.

Winter creeped by slowly. Jing Jing was going to give birth in a few months. Shi Tou started to collect the items necessary for a child. He was busy to no ends. Representative Jiang* also ordered his secretary to deliver presents. They went from cribs to toys, and pacifiers; even powdered milk from overseas filled up an entire room.

Other people all teased at how loyal of a brother Deputy Director Jiang* was to the little idiot, going as far as to take his job of raising a child.

But Jing Jing didn’t like those words. Once someone mentioned Deputy Director Jiang*, she would sneer and no one understood why. 4OI5tH

As winter was arriving, Shi Tou made a big pot of tangyuan. He left a huge bowl for Jing Jing before taking the pot to the Jiang* Family compound.

There were tangyuans in every color, vivid and bright. There were both sweet bean paste fillings and sesame filling, both appealing and delicious.

“Ah, it’s snowing!”

Shi Tou stuck his head out of the window, fluffy white snowflakes fell outside. He ran out in excitement, opened his mouth, thinking of the snow as cotton candy. cyJZDg

Ah-Jiang followed him from behind, then opened his mouth along with him.

“Is it good?”

“Uh, there’s no flavor.”

Winter was here. The construction site had a day off while the new restaurant was still in renovation, so both of them had no work to do that day. SnvEIQ

Ah-Jiang found the bike from the old days in his garage —he’d fixed it in his own time without telling the other— he patted the backseat. “Get on, I’ll take you around.”

Shi Tou got on as he held onto Ah-Jiang’s waist from behind. They were so close together that there was no space left between then.

The old bike let out squeaks from the friction when being rode as the wheels spun. When Ah-Jiang moved his hands off the bike, it would start to shake and sway. Shi Tou held into Ah-Jiang tightly, yelling and laughing along with him. They were like two stupid lunatics.

Ah-Jiang had only rode for a while and the sky was already dark. Not long after, it wasn’t snowing anymore, it started raining. ghR58x

They had no choice but to find a shelter against the rain. The wooden pavilion was still there. Just like how it was years ago, they both stood under the pavilion. Ah-Jiang opened his coat and spread his arms to block the rain off for Shi Tou, half of him was drenched.

Thunder rumbled, Shi Tou shivered a bit before raising his head.

He met Ah-Jiang’s eyes. In those eyes, his reflection came closer and closer…a cold sensation pasted against him. It was like the cotton candy in his memories, soft, sweet, yet also a little bitter.

When kissing, you need to close your eyes…Shi Tou slowly shut his eyes. od1 FK

His coat fell to the ground as thin rain splashed onto their bodys. The cold wind lightly scratched against them like small blades as they held onto each other tightly. The kiss deepened as their tongues pushed into each other’s mouths, getting entangled.

Bang!

The door was pushed open, he couldn’t wait any longer. He pushed the other up against the wall, crazily going in for another kiss. Their breathing was in shambles, their drenched bodies stuck closely together, their teeth slightly shivering, but their hearts were boiling hot. There was only one light source in the room at the size of a palm, but it was enough for them to see each other when they stopped.

“Ah-Jiang…” oqvjn3

“Don’t say anything.” Ah-Jiang spoke very fast, not giving the other a chance to say any words of rejection.

He sucked in a deep breath, held tight onto his Little Rock before speaking next to his ear lowly, “Leave it to me…”

“Leave everything to me, Little Rock. Don’t be afraid, don’t be afraid…”

Their clothes were thrown to the ground carelessly, the wedding photo placed on the bedpost fell to the ground from the commotion. The young male was pressed onto a land of gorgeous red. Even though it had been so long, the newlywed chamber bedsheet still hasn’t been changed. Along with the huge Double Happiness Post, they all became an embellishment to this affair. OC7IyR

As both individual’s clothes were stripped off, they saw each other in complete honesty.

Shi Tou never knew he could be this close to Ah-Jiang, his inexperienced reactions made Ah-Jiang more and more excited. He left one bite after another, the area between his thighs were covered with marks.

Shi Tou clenched tight onto the blanket, he was both panicking and confused. The only thing left in his widened eyes were his trust in Ah-Jiang.

“Little Rock.” 5Zazyo

“Mn.”

“I love you.”

Please visit chrysanthemumgarden (dot) com

“Mn.”

His breathing was stopped abruptly for a mere second. His body had been split by something, ripping him apart little by little. His legs clamped tight onto Ah-Jiang’s waist, even his toes were curled. vxp s0

Shi Tou sucked in large deep breaths as his hands clawed into the pillow. The item inserted to his body was too hot, he felt like he was near melting.

“Does it hurt?”

Shi Tou nodded, but then shook. He was afraid that if he said it hurt, Ah-Jiang would leave him.

Ah-Jiang kissed his eye before suddenly thrusting his waist in harshly, penetrating all the way to the end. Shi Tou let out a sound from the stimulus. His voice was both high and hoarse, he even surprised himself. He bit down onto his lip, wanting to cover himself up with the blanket. q32lyG

“Don’t endure it.” Ah-Jiang said next to his ear. “I liked to hear it, a lot.”

Shi Tou felt like his face was going to overheat. Then the item inside his body began to move, little by little, going in and out, slowly melting him.

“Mn, mn, mn…” Everytime it thrust in, Shi Tou would let out a soft and tiny moan. They stealthily scratched Ah-Jiang’s heart.

Ah-Jiang suddenly picked him up. With nothing supporting his waist from behind, the hot instrument penetrated even deeper. Shi Tou let out a sound from the hard thrust, almost crying. Then Ah-Jiang moved his legs to the front of his chest. Suddenly, he exerted great amounts of forces onto his next thrust. The sound of skin hitting against skin over and over could be heard again, the entire bedpost shook along with it. ik8Hx7

“Ah-Jiang, Ah-Jiang…” Shi Tou called out panickedly. He clambered onto Ah-Jiang’s shoulder as if he was drowning. He was very scared, yet he also felt a sensation he’d never experienced before as waves of pleasure hit him one after another. Ah-Jiang seemed to know of this body’s every weakness. Filled with yearning, obsession, resentment…and thousands of years worth of love and hate, they all mixed into this body.

Their bodies stuck close to each other, moving back and forth, they complimented every action of the other. Ah-Jiang had gone mad, he was near crushing his Little Rock to dust. The impeccable desires were all being released that rainy night, the sperm that was being shot out dirtied the red bedsheet as their bodies mixed in each other’s sweat. Tears covered the young male’s face. Ah-Jiang’s love was too rough, his body was ripped open again and again. Like a woman, his insides were filled to the brim by another man’s seed. In the end, the fluid dripped down his thigh as it mixed in with the other man’s due to him not being able to hold it in.

Deep into the night, the rain gradually softened.

Finally, the house’s female owner came back in a mess with her purse in her hand. dVLs7

She realized that the house’s door was unlatched. When she walked in, she saw a pair of shoes that were both different sizes. They were kicked to the side disorderly, who knows where the missing pairs were at.

She suddenly cleared up, her heart starting thumping like a drum. The bedroom door in front was slightly open as a dimmed light shot out from the inside.

She was like a thief who just broke into an unoccupied house. She lightened her steps and bent slightly as she inched towards the sacred ground step by step.

Before she could push the door open, someone else pulled it open first. CIcDlG

A man that wasn’t her husband walked out of the room.

Deputy Director Jiang* wore a wrinkled undershirt as his bare chest was exposed along with his unbuttoned trousers. His short hair was a bit messy while his lips had an unnatural red stain on them. The woman could smell something odd, it was a musk fragrance that belonged to men.

She quickly understood what had happened in that room.

Deputy Director Jiang* closed the door tightly. He was like a wolf protecting its food, blocking in front of the door as he gave off a thick hostile aura. That was right, finally, he wasn’t covering it up anymore. He didn’t want to continue pretending anymore. gO fu5

He took out a cigarette from his pocket and lit it before taking a long puff of it.

He sat in the living room’s chair so naturally that it seemed like he was the rightful owner of this house instead. He looked at the woman with the protruded stomach as if he was a king who’d just won a war.

He blew out a mouthful of smoke and said, “Let’s have a talk.”

  1. Although i kind of pity Jing Jing, Little Rock and Ah-Jiang should be together

    Anddd…

    They finally pa pa pa!!!!!!

How will they deal with this mess?

    Can’t wait for it

    Thx for the chappy

    (≡^∇^≡)

  2. Everytime I read a chapter, it leaves a bittersweet taste. And yet because I like to be rational and direct my mind always reverts to how this mess actually started. Because some people didn’t know how to protect themselves well enough, because some people allowed themselves to be used and because some people were so naive that it bordered on being stupid so much so that not only were they killed but they ended up implicating people who cared about them….and of course this stupidity is still on going but hey right?!

Aish I’m ranting…the frustration after I read every chapter and yet I can’t stop because I want to KNOW. I really dislike people like WX the most, their stupidity and implicating the people around them because as a person you can’t exactly not care when you see it happening and it involves someone you know and care about🙆

        • Shi Tou is clinically “retarded”. It’s been stated that he’s been like that for the past lifetimes as well. Since his soul shattered at least. Also, who would listen to a lover just because they say not to. Ah-Jiang never gave a explicit reason why he didn’t want Shi Tou around his then brother and so Shi Tou believed it was just out of jealousy, Ah-Jiang has always been possessive of Shi Tou and likes to monopolize him. EVERYBODY knew this, the whole village was aware. While I definitely agree your comment about Shi Tou being naive but that also came from his environment. It was stated that he grew up in an environment that promoted honesty and goodwill above all else and those are also the ONLY people he’s ever really came across. Even the criminals weren’t necessarily bad people. He’s naive because he had never met such a devious person in his life, even Ah-Jiang whose known by others as a being you never want to see is not known for being deceptive. He didn’t implicate Ah-Jiang, Ah-Jiang made a decision to sacrifice his cultivation to save Shi Tou and I personally think it’s for the best. They’re already bonded for all of eternity and now they’ll be able to be reborn together for all eternity. He doesn’t have to deal with Meliodas and Elizabeth’s situation.
    • Wahh, I totally agree…I’m conflicted because I like their relationship but it’s causing problems for other people and Little Jiang didn’t even care about the fact that he slept with a married person. Honestly he shouldn’t have done that no matter how right he thinks he is….

  3. Honestly, I haven’t liked Jing Jing since she proposed marriage to Shi Tou after getting pregnant. We all knew he wasn’t going to say no, especially because she’s a “close friend” of his. However I do agree with the TR, the way women are portrayed in BL series is distasteful and flat out ugly. They’re always envious, petty and and just devious. I’m ready to see more realistic women in series.

  4. Thank you so much for the translation and work put into it! I wait for the day when the next chapter is released. Something is bound to happen, finally! Is Jiang going to throw money at Jing to keep her provided while he takes Shi Tou? I….. can’t…… breathe…… 💀💀💀

  5. Thanks for the chapter! I enjoyed the first arc but this story is getting…problematic. I get that Ah Jiang is possessive and there’s nothing nice about him but it’s not healthy the way he just pushes this relationship on Shi Tou. And ST thinking that it hurts but if he says so AJ will leave??? We’re past the days where such behaviour is ok. I mean good that they like each other coz otherwise it reeks of an abusive relationship where the dominant one just manipulates the other to stay in the relationship by doing things for them and slowly cutting off everyone else. Wheee
